Chapter 65

Chances POV

I'm sort of, kinda, really mad that Tessa has a boyfriend. I'm glad she moved on and all but I still wish she was mine. Every time I shut my eyes I see the biggest mistake of my life, the day we broke up. I wanted to tell her how I feel, but I just couldn't. Tessa had another guy now, and I needed to respect that.

I waited on Tessa's bed while she took a shower because I needed to shower after her and somebody was all ready in my shower.

Tessa-"Oh hey! I didn't know you stayed!"

Chance-"Yeah umm could I use your shower, I mean the boys all probably have a really long wait and-"

Tessa-"Chance, I don't care just go in😂"

Tessa smiled sweetly and her soft brown eyes shone from the sunlight peering through the window. I was so lucky to even be her friend. I need to get over her.

An hour later...

Tessa's POV

I heard the door bell ring and opened the door, revealing Lucas holding Daisy's. He is so sweet but I don't really like Daisy's, I prefer roses because Daisy's make my allergies bad. I smiled and thanked him giving him a quick peck. I turned around to see Erika, Jake, Anthony, and Chance, all watching us.

Erika-"Hi I'm Erika!"

Jake-"I'm Jake, Jake Paul!"

Chance-"I'm Chance..."

Anthony-"I'm Anthony!"

Tessa-"Well umm guys this is Lucas my-boyfriend"

I forced a smile and gave Erika the Daisy's, she got the hint and discreetly threw them away. Chance seemed a bit tense so I sat next to him on the couch. Lucas was talking with Jake and Erika about random things and honestly, I was bored. Anthony was grilling chicken, and then Chad helped make salad. Without thinking I sat down next to Chance and put my head in his shoulder.

Chance-"BOO!"

I screamed and grabbed on to him, gosh I could be so jumpy sometimes. I realized my mistake of hugging Chance when Lucas came over and pulled me into his lap. The three of us talked and Chance kept telling Lucas about all the fun times we had together. I thought things were going great until Lucas stood up, "Tessa I'm going home, come with me." Asked Lucas.

Tessa-"Sorry, not tonight."

Lucas-"can we talk outside?"

Tessa-"Sure, what's wrong?"
