Sequel Chapter Ten

Tessa's pov

Jake pulled us downstairs into the office and sat across from us at the long table. Jax and Hunter were next to us and they both had confused looks on their faces.

Hunter-"What happened?"

Chance-"Uhh I'm going to-"

Jake-"UHH YOUR STAYING NOW SIT DOWN..."

Chance sat back down and I looked at hunters green eyes... just like Chance. They need to know.

Hunter-"Chance is daddy?"

Tessa-"Yeah Chance is your daddy. He left when you were a little baby but he's here now."

I squeezed Chances hand under the table And he looked at me.

Hunter-"Daddy why don't you love me?"

Chance looked at me teary eyed and then back at hunter.

Chance-"I do love you..."

Hunter-"But you leave."

Jax-"Daddy!"

He leaned over and gave Chance a hug but Hunter stopped him.

"He doesn't love us, Jax."  Said hunter pulling Jax out of his chair. They left the room and I held back tears looking at Jake through my blurry eyes. "Why him Tessa?" Asked Jake.

"Because he's the only person who has made me happy in this world okay!" I yelled at Jake who seemed startled at my out burst. He started to apologize  but I cut him off leaving the room pulling Chance with me back upstairs. He hasn't said a word since we told the boys he was their dad and I know he's really upset. I sat down on the bed next to him.

"They hate me. My own kids hate me..." he said placing his hands on his head.

"They don't hate you...Hunter is just being an angry little three and a half year old. Jax doesn't even understand. They love you Chance." I said lifting his chin up and giving him a kiss. "Thanks T but it's clear they don't." He said almost crying. "Chance they love you almost as much as I do and that's saying a lot." I smiled at Chance who was now blinking back tears. One fell down his cheek and I wiped it off. "Go talk to them. Tell them everything you want. They need to know..." I said getting off chances lap, and laying down on the bed.

Chances pov

I gave Tessa one last kiss before I knocked on the boys door. I then opened it to see hunter on his bed and Jax playing on the carpet. "Hey guys." I said sitting down next to Jax. "Daddy!" He squealed standing up and begging to waddle towards me.

"Leave Chance your not my daddy" Said hunter sitting with his arms crossed. He got up and helped Jax her on the bed with him and I stood up.

"I love you guys okay?..." I said as I tried to give them a hug. Jax accepted but Hunter sat there upset, throwing a silent tantrum which was rare for a three almost four year old. "You mommy all alone!" Said Hunter as I left the room crying. Hunter clearly wasn't going to budge and Jax does whatever hunter does.

I walked back into Tessa's room and flopped on the bed wrapping my arms around Tessa's waist. She giggled and fell next to me but then her face went serious. "He's just sad Chance, he will come around." She said trying to make me feel better that my own kids hate me.

Tessa's pov

I feel honestly so bad for Chance right now. His own kids hate him... and yes he did leave for two years but they don't know the whole story which makes him look worse. I cuddled into his neck and buried my face. He looked down at me and I smiled at him sitting up. "Let's go see a movie, we can take the boys and then team ten won't be pissed at me for bringing you here." I said grabbing his hands.

He nodded his head and grabbed a sweatshirt while I ran to the boys room and got there shoes on.
