Chapter Three: A song calling for you

Peeta POV

"I love you too" I can see some beautiful grey eyes open . . . .

And it was a whisper as loud as a shout. . . .

I can see that shes awake. I stare into her beautiful grey eyes. Man is she hot! But I can't help but wonder if what she just said is true.

"What?" "I love you too." and after she says that, her arms go aroung my neck and kisses me.

And I felt a spark . .

Katniss POV

The first bell rang so I head to the office to get my schedule and locker combination. Since I was absent yesterday. Gale texted me on my way to school that he had to do a family thing. So he wasn't going to come to school today. The principle, Ms. Trinkett handed me my schedule and it said:

1st period : Music 2nd period : Art 3rd period : Free 4th period : English/History 5th period : Math/Chemistry 6,7,8 : The Hunger Games

"What are the Hunger Games?" "You'll see. Every Senior has to take it." "oh" I walk out and start heading to Music. Room 243. I wonder who else that I know, has class with me. Im in the middle of the hallway and start hearing someone sniffle and crying. But I ignore that thought. Maybe it was just my imagination.

Oh God! I was gonna be late for class.

On my way to class, I see Prim. I havn't seen her since yesterday morning. I see her poor little face, with wet tears coming from her eyes.

"Prim, hey whats wrong?" "I've liked this guys since 2 years ago. I told my best friend Madge and then I found out he liked her. So she found out and went out with him." I hug her. Everybody is now running to class, otherwise they would be late. I try to comfort her. And finally she stops sobbing. I stroke her beautiful long hair. And I release her from the hug.

"What class do you have?" "Music" "Me too! Lets go!"

We get there and the bell rung just in time. Everybody stares at the two Everdeen sisters. From the doorway I can see all my freinds at the back. I take Prim over and we sit down.

"Hello Katniss, Prim. Take your seats. I will present myself again since Katniss wasnt here yesterday. Im Ms. Enobaria and today I will pick some of you to sing today. I will choose duet or solo. Your task is to choose a song and prepare. If you get a duet and your partners are girl and boy, then your job is to choose a song with a female and male. If your partners are girl and girl, then choose a song with a female and female. Solos, your job is to choose a song and change the lyrics a little. No bad language is aloud. Here are the Partners or solos for today."

"Prim" "Glimmer and Clove" "Katniss and Peeta"

I stare at Peeta and I know its gonna be awkward.

"I'll go first" I see Prim stand up and volenteer.

And her beautiful voice starts.

I see you driving 'round town

With the guy I love and I'm like,
