Chapter 18: Oh no

Katniss POV

"Lets go kitty" Finnick says grabing my shoulders and putting me infront of him. His hands firmly tight around my shoulder, leading me to his car.

Halfway to his car, he lets go of my shoulders and stands infront of me. "wait right here. Ill get the car." "Yeah. Sure." I say blankly. He gives me a smile and I try my bestest smile. But my face looks like when Johanna is forced to watch Barney.

He smirks and runs towards the car. I turn to look back at the train leave and see someone I never want to see again. Nick. He sees me and Im terrified. I turn around and head towards Finnick who is casually walking and smiling at Annie in the car. I run as fast as I can and finally get to him. By now, tears are forming in my eyes. Finnick turjns around to face me, and catch me before I fall to my knees.

" kitty, what happened!?" he asked worried. " n-nick" I say. His face becomes angry and he says,"what about him?" " he is here." Annie pokes her head out and says " whats wrong?" "ANNIE START THE CAR" Finnick carries me to the back seat. Finnick steps into the driver seat with Annie next to him.

"What happened?" inocent Annie asks. "Uhh well. Uhh Katniss here, uhh saw, someone. Uhh yeahhh." "Who." "uhhh her ex" "oh" She says. And finally I get the guts to talk. " When I started high school, Nick was my boyfriend. I loved him so much. And then one time, we had a fight and he was driving, and then he pulled over. He did what Gale does but worst. Wayyyyyy worst." I sniff my tears. "I want Peeta" I manage to cry out before I magically fall asleep.

Day 4 since Peeta left

"Okay well I have to hangup babe. I love you so much. Ill see you into 3 days." "I love you more Peeta"

I hang up and look at my calender. Today is Monday. Ill see Peeta on Thursday. Im at lunch. And the bell just rang and Im about to head to class with Glimmer.

"So katniss, how is it going?" I know what she means. "Fine. I really miss him." Oh no. I think. I can see Nick coming down the hallway. He moved to our school and he is in my class. "uhh glimmer, please stand next to me." She looks up from her phone and catches a glimps of Nick coming right at me. She starts to walk right next to me, with our arms hooked up.

"Hey babe." says Nick once he reaches us. "Leave her alone nick. Look, here comes Finnick." Says Glimmer. I think, thank god Finnick saved us. But then when he turns to see nothing, she yanks my arm and says," run!!!" I run towards my class and I walk in and see Peeta and Finnick and Cato. I walk to my desk, "casually" and sit. I slap a smile on my face and tada.
