Im a loner

Finnick POV

Im a loner. Yupp. Well yesterday was a wierd day. I went to school, hoping to see my best friend Katniss. I love her. Shes just beautiful. We both met at this place where supposely its "forbidden" . I helped her out because her dad had passed away. And I was there to help her through tough times.Shes beautiful. Opps!!! Did I say that again? I can say it again and again, because its the truth. I know what Gale does to her, so Im like a big protective brother, to her. I wanna be more than that. I wanna be her Prince Charming. I also know that Peeta likes her. And sometimes, it does bug me, but if Peeta makes my Kitty Kat happy, then of course, I have to let her go. But for now Im fighting for her.

Right now Im in music, with my friends. We are sitting in the two front rows. The first row is *left to right* Glimmer, Marvel, Where Katniss was going to sit but she had to sing, and then Me. The second row is *left to right* Cato, Clove, Where Peeta was going to sit but he had to sing with my Kitty Kat, and then Johanna.

Im sitting listening to Peeta sing.

I look away because now Peeta has stepped to close to my Kitty Kat. And he knows I like her. I told him when we were little. We talked about it and we decided that Katniss gets to choose. So we dont fight about it, but we both protect her from Gale.

Im thinking about yesterday . . . .

**Flashback**

Im at school hoping to see my Kitty Kat. I wore the best outfit in my closet just to impress her. I don't see Gale either. He better not be hurting her. But as well, I dont see Peeta. Wierd. I keep on walking to see if I see her.

By the end of the day, I dont see Kitty Kat, Gale, or Peeta. I walk home disapointed. I get the key to my house under the mat and open the door. To my surprise, I find Katniss on my couch. She looks adorable sleeping. I can see bruises on the rest of her body, except her beautiful face. I know what Gale did, and Im about to walk out the door to beat the sugar out of Gale. But I recieve a message Peeta.

Peeta:

Hey Gale did it again. I couldnt take her to my house because my mom. If I took her to her house, her mom would freak. I could only think of your house. Please take care of her.

Finnik:

I always take care of her

With that said, or typed, I turn around and head towards Katniss. I kneel down to brush her hair out of her face.

"You should get a girlfriend"

"My dear Katniss, love will always be infront of my eyes. I just gotta open them."

She closes her eyes and after a little while of watching her, I carry her bridal style, up the stairs and into my room. I set her down on my water bed, with her arms still around my neck. I lean down and whisper,

"I love you"

"I love you too."

I can see that she was awake. And after what she says, she kisses me. .

**End of Flashback**

I can tell that she doesnt remember anything from yesterday. But now I freak because she finished singing, and she was jumping, and tripped. Peeta had to catch her. I turn my head to not get hurt, and see Gale leaning against the doorway. I get up as quickly and quietly as I can. I noticed that Katniss knows that Gale watched them. I step outside and close the door behind me.

"What the hell man. You kissed my Girlfriend!!" He shoves me and I turn nervous. Not because Im afraid of him, I could win him with one blow, but because my friend Peeta would get really mad for kissing her. And I dont want to loose a friend.

I shove him back, "What the hell man!!! I didnt kiss your girlfriend. You dont even have proof!"

He takes out his phone and shows me a picture of us kissing. You can clearly see that it was me kissing her back. I think we were too loud that all my friend came out. Katniss first with Peeta behind her.

This, is going to be a disaster.
