Chapter 19: Coming home

Katniss POV

Its Tuesday afterschool and Im walking to school. Everyone had detention. EVERYONE BUT ME. Nice huh?

"Hey beautiful." I turn to see Nick. Oh no. Peeta, please help. "What do you want Nick?" "You" he says and sits me down on a bench. " look Nick, Im in a realtionship with p-" "Who? because i havnt seen anyone comfort you. I can make you mine" "I dont want to" "FINE! Have it your way. but by tomorrow, you will be mine." And with that said, he leaves.

I get up and run to Finnicks house. I go to "my room" and shut the door and cover my ears and curl up in a ball and scream.

••a few minutes later.

"AHHHHHHH!" Im still screaming and by now I can hear someone come in my room and say, "KATNISS, KATNISS!" I stop and look up and see Annie. I hug her and say, "Nick. I want to see peeta." "Oh honey its ok." " Hey have you seen Katniss, Annie? Shes usually at the fridge eatin- woah Katniss, what are you doing with my Girlfriend?" "Finnick shes cry-" I see Finnick and I leave Annies arms and go into Finnicks arms.

I hug him and he hesitates but hugs me back. "Ni-nick came u-up to me a-and said that h-he-" "shhh, how about we go watch a movie?" Finnick asks. He carries my on his back and carries Annie bridal style.

•• Wednesday afterschool

"Party at my house!" says Finnick. "woahh!" we all scream. Plus a few from our school. Finnick Annie and I go to Finnicks house and get ready.

When we get there, Finnick gets the house decorated. Annie takes me to "my room" and walks into my closet. She picks out skin tight jeans and a tight long sleeved black crop tog and four inch stiletos. She does my make up and goes natural. No foundation just a bit of concealer and bronzer with curled lashes and lots of mascara. She starightens my hair and pulls it tight to one side.

"ready?" "ready" I respond.

I have had only one beer and almost everyone here is drunk. There are a lot of people and some that I dont even know. I walk out of the house and go towards my car. I left my backpack in the backseat and it has my phone in it. I open the back door and lean in. I hope noone else is hear of they could see all of my butt.

When I find my backpack, someone takes it and throws it all the way across the lawn. "Hey what the fu-" Im interupted by someone kissing me. Nick? I try to shove him off but he is strong.

"Katniss?" I can hear him whisper but shout at the say time. I forcefull, with all my night shove Nick back but he only steps one step back.

I turn to see him with tears forming in his eyes, and him dropping his duffle bag.

"Peeta"
