Chapter Seven : Jump

Finnick POV

I feel better now and turn around to talk to Kitty Kat but I turn around to see Peeta on top of Katniss, pinning her hand tothe side so she wont fight back. And I get hurt. Not because he is kissing her. I can always win Katniss back, she loves me and vise versa. I am hurt because she isnt fighting back. And kissing him back. . . .

"Peeta get off of her!!" I push him off and grab Katniss wrist and take her to that closet we kissed.

Katniss POV

Finnick pushed me into Peetas arms and I feel safe here. WAIT WHAT? Peeta somehow stumbles backwards and I fall on top of him. He turns me and now he is on top. I am shocked and Peeta kisses me! I dont know why but I kiss him back. His kisses are different from Finnick and Gale's. OH MUFFINS! I FORGOT THAT I STILL TECHNICALLY DATING GALE. NOOOOOO!!!!

Finnick notices that Peeta is kisses me and I hope he didnt notice that I kissed him back. Finnick screams something and pushes him off and grabs my wrist and drags me into the closet.

"Why?" Oh no! He knows I kissed him back. I dont know what to do so I kiss him. I wrap my arms around his neck and he hold my waist. He hesitates to kiss me but I push myself to kiss him. After a while he breaks away and he asks, "Katniss, why did you kiss him." I thought that this kiss would make him forget. I look down at my feet and his face turns red of anger. He grabs my wrist again and drags me to his car. He sits me in his passenger seat and he walks over to the driver seat. He turns the car on and I can tell he is mad. I just look at my hands that are on my lap.

We pass a red light and a car is about to hit us but luckly, the other car stops. Im in shock and ask, "Finnick!! Are you okay? " He drived a little further and hit the brakes really hard once he moved out the way of the street. He set the car on park and the passenger seat is facing some woods. I jerk fowards then backwards. I dont dare to look at him but he screams, " KATNISS!!! I COULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING TO YOU BACK THERE!!!" I start forming tears in my eyes and I try to keep them in because I dont want him to see how weak I am. He takes a few deep breaths and starts speaking again. "Im sorry Katniss but I love you. I dont want to see somebody take you away from me so easily. But I still want to know why you kissed him back. I saw what I saw and I clearly saw you kiss him back. And when we were in the closet, you didnt try to take it back. I love you Kitty Kat." He leans foward but I open the door and run out into the woods.

I run and think. These days are the worst. I mean, I haven't gone through a full day of school without so much drama. I run to where I think is the end of the woods to find a cliff. I can hear Finnick scream my name. And its getting closer.

"KATNISS!! KITTY KAT!!!! IM SORRY I LOVE YOU AND IM HERE FOR YOU!!!"

I think about all the memories Ive had of us. When we were little and we met in that forbidden place. He helped me through alot. I cant hear him screaming now. Maybe he gave up. I stand near the edge of the cliff and soak in the wind. Peeta pops in my mind and ohhh do I like him. Why is life so hard?? And then I think of my dad. He sang to me many lullabys. Every time I feel lonely, I sing. It makes me feel closer to him. And right now I feel lonely. So I start singing.

I know who this song is dedicated to. And I hear twigs and branches being stepped on. I turn around and see no one. I know someone is hiding and in my mind I quickly say, "I love you dad, Prim, Finnick, Peeta, and all my friends." in my mind of course. And before thinking about it, I jump . . .

My stomach is flying and gravity is about to pull my down, when some arms go around my waist and pull me back. Onto the safe ground. I turn around, hoping to see Finnick. But I dont see him. I see . . . .
