Katniss POV

Peeta just finished singing and he exits stage right. I run towards him and he starts to turn away from me but I say, "Peeta" while turning him back by grabbing his wrist. But he shakes my hand away.

"Peeta, wait. I didn't mean i-" but stupid Delly comes and hugs Peeta. He is a little taken back. But then hugs her. Im in shock with my mouth hanging open.

"I didnt mean it." I whisper and run backstage. "And now, Katniss Everdeen."

I had prepared to sing Bridges but then something hit me. "I didnt mean it" I whisper again. You wanna play that way Peeta? Fine.

Peeta POV

Once Katniss is out of view, I hear her name being called upstage. I shove Delly off of me and she winces. I walk to the front of the croud. I can see her really confident. And her angelic voice staarts to sing.
