I woke up in a room. I was lying on the ground. I looked around the small room. There was one door. No windows. A table and a chair. I got up off the ground and walked over to the door. I tried to open it, but just as I thought, it was locked.

"Peter? Ned?" I whispered, hoping they would be online.

"Veronica! Your okay!" I hear Peter yell happily.

"Glad to hear your alive," I hear Ned say happily.

"Where am I?" I ask the two. I sat down in the chair and put my hands down on the table.

"I was expecting them take you to Germany, but they brought you to an isolated large factory like building in Vermont," Peter said.

"That's weird, I thought they'd take me to Germany too," I whisper. "Are you near?"

"Yeah, I'm on top of a tree near the building, I can see the room they put you in, there is a window outside the room you're locked in," Peter says.

"Guys I feel so included on you're journey," I hear Ned squeal.

"Shut up, Ned," Peter barks.

"Sorry," Ned says.

"You have any more information?" I ask Peter.

"I see the HYDRA symbol everywhere. On every door and everyone has it imprinted somewhere on their shirts or tattooed onto them," Peter says.

"Huh, you'd think they would be more careful about leaving their symbol out in the open," I say. "Peter, when do you think you'll swoop in?"

"Are you tied up?"

"No, why?"

"Whenever you're in distress, I'll make my way in," Peter says. I smile to myself. "Wait, someone's at your door."

Then I hear the door unlock.

Someone then walks in and closes the door behind them. The person faces me.

It was Helgen. His nasty scar still very visible to me.

"Ms. Taylor, we meet once again," He says in a thick German accent.

"Glad to be here, now what the hell do you want?" I asked, a little too confidently. I realized I shouldn't have been sarcastic to a terrorist organization leader.

"I remember specifically having someone bringing you to me, but they never showed up, instead they ended up in prison. Why might I ask, was that?" He asks angrily as he approaches the table.

"I don't know," I lie.

"Well, perhaps it was just a miscommunication. Maybe he just took you to the wrong place at the wrong time. Or he hijacked a plane like an idiot and was stopped by the one and only Spider-Man!" He yelled while slamming down a picture onto the table.

It was of Peter, swinging away from the plane crash, with me in his arms. You couldn't see Peters face, but you could tell he was unmasked.

"Oh, that's what the guys name was, huh, never heard him being called that," I lie again. I could hear Peter chuckling faintly in my earpiece.

"Well we will touch on that subject again later, but first," He says before taking something out of his pocket, which was wrapped in some metallic stuff. It was the symbol, but it was glowing red. "My first step in destroying you, marking you mine."

I looked at him confused. I got up from the chair as he walked towards me with the thing.

"W-Wait? W-What are you doing with that?" I asked, scared, hoping that Peter could somehow take that hint that I needed some backup.
