HI AGAIN DUDETHEKILLERMAN! Btw I'm going through these chapters and A/Ns to make sure there's nothing about my age in here xD

(And five days later, I'm going through each chapter changing the female main character's name to Destiny.)

~~~{Destiny's P.O.V}~~~
"That was really fun!" I exclaimed. "The ending was sad though..."
"I know!" Mitch agreed. "Do you want to do it again sometime?"
"I would love to!" I smiled at him as we walked outside the theater. "But right now, I've got to eat dinner."
"I could take you somewhere," Mitch offered.
"Oh, n-" I started to say, before I stopped myself and said instead, "I would love to!"
~~~{~}~~~

"That was a really delicious dinner." I smiled at Mitch. I decided I really did trust him. After all, I had known him for almost a month, even though almost all of that time was when I was with Jerome.

"Yeah," he smiled back.

"Who's going to pay?" I asked.

"Me, of course!" Mitch acted offended.

"I'll take half." I offered.

"No!"

"I'll take half!" I said, this time sounding like an order.

"Fine.." Mitch stuck out his bottom lip.

The waitress came and asked if we wanted dessert. We smiled and nodded.

"I would like the Chocolate Lava Cake." I supplied the waitress.

"Me too."

"Okay." The waitress said, leaving.

"I'm going to gain ten pounds after this." I laughed.

"Well, I'm going to gain twenty!" Mitch said this like it was an achievement.

"I'd like to see you after that!" I laughed again.

Suddenly, Mitch grew serious. "You know, I have a lot of fun talking to you like this. It seems like we get along pretty well, don't you think?"

I nodded, surprised at the sudden change of tone and a little anxious for where this was going.

"I really enjoy the time I spend with you, even when you hated me. I can't help but have feeling for you past those of friendship, and I've really been hoping we could be so thing more than 'just friends'. Do you feel the same way?"

Jerome's words came ringing back to me: "Mitch is a player. He used to go through a couple of girls a week, and he would love one, then another, then another.

"Yes." I whispered. I really did, though. Even when I thought I hated him, I had always wanted to be closer to him. I cleared my throat and said again, louder: "Yes. I really do feel the same way."

"I know we just broke up with my girlfriend and your boyfriend, but...will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes. Yes. I would love to!" I smiled and gazed deep into his eyes. Mitch looked into my grey eyes and smiled back.

"I was really nervous when I brought you here." Mitch confessed. "I didn't know if you liked me or not, especially since you just broke up with Jerome."

I smiled. We finished the rest of our lava cake in comfortable silence, enjoying each other's company.

The waitress appeared with our bill. "Please pay in cash. Don't wait for me to come back and take it, once you pay you can leave." She said, smiling and leaving herself.

"Lets give her an extra five dollars for tip." I suggested to Mitch.

Mitch nodded and put his half of the bill down plus the tip. I dropped the other half on the table and we got up and left, hand in hand.

"Let's go to the park!" Mitch suggested as we walked out of the resteraunt.

"Sure. It's right over there, right?" I pointed to a park right across the street.

Mitch nodded. "Come on."

We walked across the street, checking for cars, and walked deep into the park.

Mitch bent down and then stood back up.

Confused, I started to ask, "Wha-"

But then I stopped, because I saw what he was doing.

He held out a stunning blue rose to me. "For you."

I could just see the dark blue from the light of the sun setting. It was summer, so the sun set much later than winter.

I blushed and put it in my hair, behind my ear. "You didn't have to do that!"

"Yes I did." Mitch leaned in and kissed me. It was a passionate kiss, full of love, and I enjoyed it. Mitch put his hand on my butt.

I shivered but didn't move it away. What I didn't realize that Mitch wasn't being romantic with the hand/butt thing, he was just sliding his money into the my jean pocket---the same amount I had payed with dinner. Plus the tip and an extra dollar.

"Let's go," Mitch breathed, pulling away after he finished sliding in the money.

We walked back to his car and drove back to my house.

"Bye Mitch," I said, sliding out of the car.

"Bye my beautiful girlfriend!" He said and I smiled. Even though I couldn't see him through the inky blackness, I imagined he was smiling also.

You know the deal...
