~~~{Destiny's P.O.V}~~~
Someone screamed. I don't know if it was me or Alia or some other person entirely. Alia and I stared at each other for a brief moment, then rushed out of the makeup room.
The rain had lightened into a faint drizzle, fortunately, because Alia and I ran outside, not bothering to close the door.
Someone was lying in the middle of the street, wearing a tie-dye red and white tank top.
No, cross that out. They were wearing a white tank top stained with red blood, and they were clutching their side.
As I got closer, I realized the person was a girl. She had short reddish hair and her face was so twisted with pain I couldn't even tell if I knew her.
I sprinted the rest of the way towards her and knelt by her side. Alia wasn't with me anymore, she must have frozen in fear.
I used Alia's phone to call the police. I don't even remember the rest.
I think the ambulance arrived about a minute after I called them. Meanwhile, I had taken off my shirt to try to staunch the bleeding. Like the girl, I only had a tank top on, but unlike her, I didn't have a bra on.
I remember shakily standing up and walking into the ambulance room. Then, one of the crew members, a guy who was supposed to be helping the girl that just got shot, started checking me out after the bus/car/amblance started moving. That was when I lost it.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing?!!!" I found myself screaming at the guy. "There's a girl here, probably only about eighteen, that's sitting here dying!! DO YOU EVEN CARE ABOUT HER?!! SHE MIGHT DIE, NOW, BECAUSE OF YOU!! CAN YOU PUT A BANDAGE ON IT? CAN YOU CLEAN THE WOUND? YES! BUT INSTEAD, YOU'RE SITTING HERE CHECKING ME OUT! YOU KNOW WHAT?!! I'M GOING TO SUE YOU!! I'M-"
Some other members of the crew came into the little room, whom I started fighting with.
I remember they had to have six crew members hold me down while a seventh injected a sleeping needle into my arm.
"Miss? Miss, are you all right?" A voice said.
I opened my eyes and saw a pretty little nurse standing over me, looking concerned. When I blinked open my eyes and stretched my arms, she took a couple steps back and crossed her arms protectively around her chest and heart.
"W-what's wrong?" I asked, my voice scratchy, like sand paper.
"You...you knocked two people unconcious on the bus."
"I did?" I asked. I don't remember much, just a few hazy outlines.
The nurse nodded. "Can I get you anything?"
I considered for a moment before answering, "Water, please?"
The nurse nodded again and hurried out of the room, seemingly releived to be out of my presence.
I sat back and took a minute to study my surroundings.
I was in a hospital room that looked just like the one I was in when I hit my head in the pool. Of course it looked the same; hospital rooms are supposed to look the same.
The one difference: there were two bouquets on the table next to me and three on the windowsill. I was wearing one of those hospital dresses that are madea of flimsy paper. When I smelled my hands to see if they still stank of blood, I smelled something else. Flowers. Lilacs?
Apparently they gave me a bath or shower with scented soap.
I couldn't find a trace of dried blood anywhere on my body.
I decided to close my eyes for a minute until the nurse came back.
Naturally, I fell asleep.
~~~{~}~~~

When I woke up, there still wasn't a glass of water in the room. I twisted around to see the wall behind me (I don't know why I did that. It wasn't likely for there to be a glas of water there, but whatever) and saw a button that said "NURSES" on the wall.

Naturally, I pressed it.

Not even thirty seconds later a nurse rushed into the room. "What's wrong?" She asked.

 "Water? I asked, but fell asleep and then no water," I rasped, trying not to talk too much.

The nurse nodded, pursed her lips, and muttered, "I'll have to report Mia." She than walked out of the room.

I tried to wait for the nurse without falling asleep, which was hard because every time I resisted closing my eyes, the lull of sleep became even more entrancing.

I think I read somewhere that if you think "I won't fall asleep." over and over again, your brain will want to fall asleep. Some scary shit right there, girl.

The nurse eventually came with a big pitcher of water and a glass. Setting the glass down on the table, she poured water into the cup and offered it to me.

I accepted it greedily and gulped it down. The nurse poured me another, then another, then another, until I finally could drink no more.

"Mitch, Jerome, Alia, and Jason are here to see you," the nurse told me, saying my friends' names carefully, like she memorized them and was trying not to get them wrong. "Should I let them in?"

I thought, then answered, "Let Jerome and Alia in. Keep the others out."

The nurse nodded brusquely and exited the room. I heard loud talking from outside, then hushed whispers. Finally, Jerome and Alia ran in, slamming the door behind them like they were trying to keep a monster out. If you count Mitch and Jason as monsters.

"Destiny!" Jerome and Alia said at the same time.

"Are you all right?" Alia asked.

"Why wouldn't I be all right?" I asked.

"The nurse said you were recovering from the shock of seeing someone almost die. And all that blood and rain and..." Jerome shuddered. "Ugh."

"Then to answer your question, I'm fine. How....how is..." I couldn't think of anything to say.

"How is Jason right there?" Alia offered.

I nodded.

"Well, in that case, he's here because....."

"The girl that got shot was your sister."

I'm editing this, and I was reading halfway through, and I looked at my profile picture and my name and I almost started crying out of happiness.

Yes, I know I'm weird.

Maybe writing stuff will help get people out of depression!
