Temper

I walked in after work, and Lily and Will were sat on the sofa together, watching a movie.

I went over, and they looked up when I entered the room.

'Alright Katherine?' Will said.

I ignored him and turned to Lily. 'Where were you?'

She looked confused. 'What are you talking about?'

'Why didn't you come back to work after the dentist?' I demanded.

'I left you a text. And Zac said you were alright with it-'

At the mention of Zac, my temper flared up.
'Well for your information, I didn't get a text!' I snapped. 'And Zac needs to keep out of stuff, instead of automatically assuming things! I don't pay you to swan off with Will!'

Will stood up. 'Don't talk to my girlfriend like that! I don't know what your​ problem is, but don't take it out on Lily, okay?'

'She was meant to be at work, not hanging out with you!' I argued. 'Just wait til your dad hears about this!'

'He won't care!' Will rolled his eyes. 'Just you're married to him, doesn't mean that he'll jump to your defence all the time!'

'What do you know about marriages?' I narrowed my eyes. 'Or even relationships? You spent over a year messing a girl around, because you were in love with a fucking robot-'

'Hey!' Lily stood up too. 'That's really none of your business! And that was crossing the line!'

'C'mon Lils.' Will took her hand, leading her out the living room. 'We'll go to yours instead.'

'Oh, and Katherine?' Will said, before he left.

'What?'

'I'm sure dad would love to hear that you're yelling at his son and his son's girlfriend.' He said and left with Lily, slamming the door behind him.
