The next day
Will and Lily walked into the lab shortly after me and Nick had arrived.
'Hiya you two.' I said.
'Hi Katherine.' They both said.
'Ah Lily. Welcome to Calimov Systems.' Nick entered the lab from his office.
I rolled my eyes. 'Nick, you don't need to use formalities. It's Lily, we know her.'
Lily smiled gratefully at me.
'You're right.' Nick nodded. 'Sorry Lily. You'll be working alongside Katherine if you don't mind.'
'No, that's fine.' Lily nodded. She turned to Will. 'I'll see you later, yeah?'
'Okay. Good luck.' Will kissed her and left. Me and Nick tactfully looked away when they kissed.
'Okay Lily, I'll show you around the rest of Calimov, since you only saw half of it whilst on work experience.' I said when Will had left. 'And I'd better give you a quick introduction into what you'll be doing today.'

3 hours later
'Lily?'
She looked up from the circuit board. 'Yeah?'
'I found some notes that Nick made last night.' I told her. 'On what makes me happy and what annoys me.'
'Right...?' She waited.
'The thing is, it's obvious that I haven't been putting as much effort into the marriage like Nick has.' I told her. 'So... I don't know how to make it better.'
'Well you both haven't been on your honeymoon, have you?' She said. 'Why not book a honeymoon abroad for a few weeks?'
'Lily, you're a genius!' I replied. 'No wonder you're on an apprenticeship here.'
'Thanks.' She laughed.
