Erin's POV
"Lindsay" I heard from Hanks Office.
What now... I thought as I walked into his office.
"Meet your new partner. 2nd grade detective Jay Halstead. Jay this is Detective Erin Lindsay"
"Nice to meet you." We both said in almost unison as we shook hands. Our eyes met for a few seconds. I felt something. I don't know what but.. it was something. "I'll text you the adress go gear up."
I showed him where the locker room was as we had to gear up anyway.
"Do you need some help with that?" He said. As I was struggling to get my best on.
"Sure " I said as I smiled back. I don't know why, but the feeling of his hands around my waist... I just don't know. "Could you help me with mine?" He said so I did the same.
Jays POV
We started walking towards the car. I hoped in after Lindsay.
"Now one thing you ABSOLUTELY need to know is that I always drive." She stated.
