"Oh god, just look at them." Calum stirs his head, trying to get a better look from behind me. It was about half way through lunch and everyone had just really gotten seated. Calum and I always packed our lunch anyway, being too impatient for the lines at lunch.

As I turn around, I'm faced to two hormonal teenagers, aka Michael and Harley, eating each other's faces off. Their lips were forcefully smacking onto each other's as Michael's hand grasped tightly onto Harley's but. I wasn't surprised at all though. I had seen Michael with the girls around school, he had always been a really public guy. He never treated girls the way they wanted to be treated though.

He continuously smacked girls asses and blowed his obnoxious smoke into their faces. He was a real player, but nothing was ever compared to Luke.

"One of then will be eaten by the time lunch is done." I say, causing Calum to chuckle.

The couple continued to slobber on each other before all of a sudden, Rae comes up behind them with a red trey, shoving Michaels face away from hers with it and slamming the trey into the table. She sarcastically smiles at both if them and sits between them. I smirk at her work and turn back around to see Calum staring as well.

"So, you really like that Rae gal then, yeah?" Calum's asks, his cheeks still stuffed with left over pasta.

"She's really cool but I mean let's be real here, she's with Luke. He's a 10 she's a 10, it's perfect. I'm at least a 3, Calum." I say. I wasn't lying though. I wasn't a very insecure guy, but whenever I was rating myself I knew to aim low.

"I don't know bro, I think you're just underestimating yourself half the time. I mean this in the non-gayest way but you're quite the charmer, Ash."

"Well I wouldn't say I'm that ugly but man she's a total babe." I say bluntly, sighing out with my cheeks and blowing out air. I stab at my grapes with a fork, not really caring what I'm doing. I wasn't really hungry anyways.

"Well, I have a dare for you then, my friend." He says, a devious smirk forming on his face.

"Oh god" I mumble, rubbing my eyes with my palms with stress.

"Look, Luke isn't here today, you should go chat her up or something." He says, the whisper in his voice laced with excitement, making him sound jumpy.

"Definitely not." I say, almost spitting my food out at his request.

"And why is that?" He questions.

"Because one move toward her, Michael will either tell Luke about it, or she'll tell me to fuck off."

"I thought you were friends?" He says as if it was a question. Rae and I weren't friends, but she said hi to me sometimes. Only at lockers, or that time I saw her at the shop the other day with Calum.

"Let's just say, we aren't as close as you make it seem." I sigh once again.

"Don't be a pussy." He mumbles. My head snaps up at the sentence, not liking the vibe that was coming off of the boy. He knew what he as doing. He knew I never liked being called a pussy or a wuss, I always had to prove myself to him, and he knew it was my weak spot by now.

"Fine. You want me to do it? I'll do it." I stand up from my chair in the corner, nobody really noticed. I look down at Calum as his smirk grew wider and wider.

I stomped toward the girls and Michael behind us, my face probably red as a tomato from frustration. Usually when I did these kinds of things I would back out before anything got to deep, but I was too far toward them to stop now. I stopped in my tracks, my mouth open trying to speak to Rae but nothing coming out. My confidence was lost as I stared into her eyes.
