33) 'We're Going On A World Tour'

'So how does it feel to be Beau Brooks's girlfriend?', Mercedes asked me, as we sat with Beau and Sam at a table in the 'Java Bean' coffee shop.

'Pretty awesome', I smiled, as Beau squeezed my hand.

The past few weeks had been perfect with Beau, and plus I had turned 18. The boy's fans had also really accepted me, maybe because Beau had never shut up about me, so they had no choice but to accept it.

'Well it's been a long time coming', Sam ( Who was back dating Mercedes ) said, 'You two were meant to me together!'

'That's what I thought the first time I saw her', Beau replied.

'Yeah right!', I laughed, 'You hated me when we first met! You wouldn't even look at me in school, like I was a bug ready to be squashed.'

'Hey that's a quote from 'Titanic'!', Beau replied.

'Duh!', I smiled, 'I know how much you love that movie!'

'God! You're so loved up!', Mercedes said, 'It's almost sickening!'

'So Beau', Sam started, 'Have you and the guys planned any new videos?'

'No not really, because we're planning something really awesome!', Beau replied.

'Really?', I asked.

I hadn't heard him or the other guys mentioning anything special.

'Yeah, uh, I was meaning to tell you. We're kinda, going on a world tour', Beau replied.

I felt my jaw drop. How could he not tell me this? I mean, a world tour! That was unbelievable!

'Wow!', Sam said, 'That's awesome dude!'

'Yeah', I mumbled, 'Really awesome.'

'Well the reason why I didn't tell you Laur', Beau began, 'Is because we want you to come with us!'

'WHAT?!', I exclaimed, laughing, 'Seriously?'

'Yep!', Beau smiled, 'I'd love to have you by my side.'

'Aw!', Mercedes and Sam said together, smiling at us.

'Well I'd love to go!', I replied, 'When is it starting?'

'May', Beau smiled, 'And it ends in July.'

'May?', I repeated, 'But Beau, I have school.'

'So?', Beau asked, shrugging, 'It's only a month.'

'Hey Sam, would you come with me to get some more coffee?', Mercedes asked, standing up.

'But we have coffee', Sam replied.

'Just come with me!', Mercedes said, tugging his shirt.

I knew she just wanted to leave Beau and I alone so that we could talk.

'Beau I can't!', I said, once the guys were gone, 'I'll miss a lot of study, we have Nationals in Chicago, and plus my best friends are graduating. I want to be there for them.'

'Okay, okay', Beau replied, 'I understand. I guess, I know how much I'm going to miss you. I hate being away from you.'

'I know it will be hard', I said, lying into him, 'But we can talk everyday.'

'Yeah, but could you come to the show we're playing in Dublin?', Beau asked, 'I know it would be really special for you.'

'What date is it?', I asked, knowing that I would love to be there.

'May 28th', Beau replied, straight away.

'Damn! That's the day of Nationals', I said, 'I'm really sorry Beau, but I won't be able.'

'FUCK!', Beau exclaimed, just as Mercedes and Sam returned.

'Is everything okay?', Mercedes asked.

'Yeah', Beau replied, putting his arm around me, 'But you guys are gonna have to take care of my girl for a few months. Is that okay?'

'I'm sure we can handle that', Sam smiled.

I smiled encouragingly at Beau. I knew I had to be positive for his sake. After all, he was going on a world tour! Inside though, I knew I would be devastated while he was gone.
