Chapter 12 : A Turn In Tides

He kissed me.

The Prince. THE PRINCE. He just kissed me. Okay, I feel so dumb for just standing still while he kissed me.

But his mouth was soo soft that it was startling. His tongue was licking my lips; begging for entrance.

And I opened the doors for it.

He deepened the kiss; making me finally moan enough as I place my hand on his hair, tugging it with him moaning against the kiss.

Now I know his weak spot.

He pulled me closer to him; making us one tight single unit. He bent down and kissed my neck as I let out a stifled moan.

His hands were below my thighs; moving upwards till it landed on my butt. He grabbed at it with both hands and pulled me up till he was carrying me. He sat down on the bed; me on top with my legs in he side as his body was pressed in through the middle.

Riiiiiiing.

He jumped up in surprise and looked at me rather sheepishly. I get out of his lap and rub my neck.

He headed for the door and two minutes later came back with two menus,'Room service just came to give us the menus'

I just nod.

He acted the rest of the day as if nothing ever happened between us. A major temporary spark that was now gone.

It was in the morning and I slept in the couch; with him not even arguing. Spoiled brat.

After I changed into another of Alice's packed outfits; blue denim butt shorts with a black shirt and red bomber jacket and my black worn out converse I asked him straightaway,'Do you not feel any attraction towards me?'

The answer he gave almost left me In tears.

'No'

Why did I even say that?

Of course I like her. No, I love her. The kiss we shared yesterday night was burned in to my mind. A tingling sensation that I couldn't ever forget.

I loved this girl but I will obey my own rules. I'll marry Raina. Get back together with her. Maybe I'll forget about Elena. She's just a stranger to me.

The face expression she wore when she heard my answer almost broke my heart. She was hurt. Really hurt.

I'm really sorry Elena. But a guy like me shouldn't be with a girl like you. I have to wed when all you've done was fled from it. I don't want you to be hurt. The life of a royal isn't some sandy beach chair.

I love you, but I got to let you go.

'Book another room for tonight and you can stay there okay?', I tell her.

She looked on the verge of tears,'You stole a kiss from me and you act like it's nothing?'

'Honey I've kissed a lot of girls. You're no different. Plus, why should I love you when I got Raina? I might have broken up with her but damn I miss her body. She's more refreshing than you'd ever be', I tell her after such a laugh that only I knew was fake.

She raised her hand; about to slap me. I closed my eyes to just embrace the pain that I deserved. One minute. Two minute. Nothing and that's when I heard a door slam shut.

I opened my eyes to see her gone. Her stuff gone. Everything. Gone. Not a si for thing to be traced back to conclude she'd even slept here. Nothing.

My phone vibrated as a message arrived on the bedside table:
