How can he say that this was going to be the best ride ever? I do enjoy rides but it was just like any ride I've ever taken.

It was enjoyable and barely lasted over ten minutes to enjoy much better. He had stopped in the seaside where normally big cruise ships and yachts docked.

'You like the sea, don't you?', Edward asked as he opened my door. I wasn't even aware of his departure from the vehicle.

'I do. But have I ever mentioned that to you?', I asked, a bit puzzled.

'No', he smiled,'I asked Alice. It was by far the longest conversation we've ever had and ever would achieve'

I laughed,'You guys are impossible'

'Yeah. I had to endure the torture of her yapping screeching voice for three whole minutes!', he acted as if he was dying,'But, it was worth it for you'

'She does shriek a lot now to think of it...', I drift on.

'Stop thinking and get on the damn boat woman', he chuckled,'Don't daydream of me again'

I looked at him and rolled my eyes,'First of all, I don't daydream about you.... second of all, what boat?'

'The blue one over there', he paused 'Saphira'

'You named a boat after the cat I saved?', I asked incredulously. That was unexpected. Was this the surprise?

'Yes. Just thought you'd be happy', he replied sheepishly,'Now come on, get in'

Saphira wasn't as big as the other boats surrounding her but was still big to me. Even after fishing with my dad; stepping on this boat felt foreign. I've been used to the small battered old boat that me and my father had used. It had many holes and we always had to seal it in between the biggest catch we could ever reel in.

'Do you like it?', he asked.

I was stunned. The boat was beautiful. We had walked all the way to the Tiber side where a table had been laid out and the floor adorned of various rose petals. All of different color.

Candles were lit everywhere except for the path towards the table. This was way more that cliché I could hope for.

'You're definitely working up the cliché part Ed', I whispered, still at awe. It was funny to think that I could still find humor in this odd moment.

'Anything to satisfy the wants of my girlfriend', he paused and added,'and for your information... this was done long before you even mentioning of your attractions to cliché people'

I laugh,'Okay, enough with the cliché word. Even I'm getting fed up now'

He beamed,'That's my girl'

He led me to the table and pushed my chair front when I sat. He walked over and sat on the seat opposite mine,'Now... for the first course?'

I nodded,'Yes. Bring on the food. I'm like a pig here'

'You're not a pig Elena', Edward chuckled. A woman came and looked at Edward flirtatiously as she poured us red wine. But his attraction to me never wavered. All he did was stare at my eyes with his.

When she realized there were no chance of distracting him with herself, she left us and I almost choked.

'Are you okay?', Edward asked with a worried face,'Are you allergic to anything here?'
