*Elena's View*
This was the day, wasn't it? Where every girl's lives change. Where they take on a new name and with it, a new family.
Today is the day my life would be changed for good. For the better, or for the worse.
I was in my room, already in my wedding gown. I've dreamt of my own wedding; but those dreams always had my parents beaming at me.
But that's reality slapping me on my face. They were gone and there's nothing I can do about it.
I'd just have to move on and smile for the sake of my friends and for my future husband to be, Edward.
'You look beautiful', Alice whispered as she laid the veil on my head,'As always'
I start to cry a bit in my happiness,'All because of your brilliant hand of artistry'
'Don't cry! You'll smudge the mascara or my artistry in other words', chuckled Alice.
'Don't worry. I wont', I smile.
The door of my room opened,'Girls, its time', my hair stylist (Who introduced herself as Victoria Fray) informed us,'We got to go'
Alice looked at me and beamed,'Let's go Elena. Don't want to be late on your special day'

'Good luck Edward. Marriage is just the staircase to hell', Uncle Xavier told me,'Overall, good luck'
Uncle Xavier was just three years older than me that just had to be my father's cousin from Scotland who had come over just for the occasion. He was married of course, to my Dear old Cressida, who was actually four months older than him.
'Xavier! You still into old women?', Derick greeted him.
I looked at him. How did he know uncle Xavier. Derick seemed to notice my question and answered,'School mate when I was in Scotland'
'Oh okay', I mumbled, fiddling with my tie till My father noticed it and stumbled over and did it for me.
'Yes. Actually I'm married to one now. Four months older... she's driving me crazy', Xavier replied.
'Crazy in love Xavier?', Rupert asked as he finished my tie and started to dust my suit with his hand.
'Crazy as in on the verge of admitting myself to go to therapy. Literally', Xavier chuckled,'She's got twins in her stomach now'
'Congratulations', Rupert said, ignoring the therapy part of his reply. I, however, didn't.
'Isn't this supposed to be my wedding?', I chuckled.
'Of course brother dear', Oliver said as he strutted over and kissed Derick on the lips in front of Xavier. He seemed more amused than bewildered.
'I see you got a new boyfriend Derick', Xavier whispered to Derick and Oliver, but I had to have heard it. Sometimes, I hate my keen naturally curious ears.
'You knew he was gay?', Oliver whispered back.
'Better than that. I dated him. I'm actually gay even though I married a woman. Well, I'm bisexual', Xavier said.
'Ew, Derick you dated my uncle', Oliver grossed out.
I almost chocked of suppressed laughter. That was all he thought about? Not of his boyfriend's ex in the same room as him but of his boyfriend's ex's status? That was truly an Oliver thing to do I guess.
'Ignore them son. Come on, it's time', Father informed me.
I looked at him nervously. Today is the day. The day everything would change for me; for the better, or for the worse.
===========================
I was at the Isle now, waiting for Elena, my bride-to-be to arrive.
And when she did, I was awestruck. I was marrying her?
Elena looked so beautiful in that wedding gown. She looked a goddess with that extraordinary chosen dress. She seemed to radiate light and warmth.
The type of warmth you always longed for. The precious warmth that you give into whenever felt. I suddenly felt vulnerable as she walked up the isle.
She was beaming and smiling and she looked a little nervous too. Alice trailed behind her in a gorgeous sequined dress that reached till the floor.
I looked at my parents who were pulling silent thumbs ups to me; nodding their heads and suddenly before I knew it, Elena stood right next to me.
'Dearly beloved we are gathered here in the presence of these witnesses to join Elena and Edward in matrimony commended to be honorable among all; and therefor is not to be entered into lightly but reverently, passionately, lovingly and solemnly. Into this - these two persons present to join. If anyone objects to this - speak now or forever hold your peace', said the priest.
He inspected the crowd for a minute, daring anyone to object. Then continued, facing Elena,' Do you Elena Bawthorne take Edward to be your husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do you part?'
Elena looked at me confidently and smiled,'I do'
'And do you Edward, take Elena to be your wife, to have and to hold from this day forward-'
I interrupted the priest,'Skip the formalities. I fucking do'
Elena laughed at that and the priest looked taken aback at the sudden swearing but huffed all the way,'Then I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride'
I pulled Elena by the waist; aware of the crowd, and leaned in till I felt her warm lips on mine. We've kissed slot of times. But this was the sealing kiss. The first one to our new lives.
'I love you Elena', I said,'I so freaking do'
Her eyes twinkled,'And I you. I love you Edward with all my heart. And I promise you, I will, till only death do we part'
And that was all I needed to hear before crashing my lips on hers again.
