Chapter 29 : Twenty Dollars In My Pocket.

I blushed. He remembered.

As much as I would be delighted to gawk at him remembering, I was majorly curious of Oliver.

He suddenly got the courage to walk up to Derick and kiss him! He said he was straight...

I smirked. He was just lying. Pretending. He thought it was a shameful sin being gay. It wasn't.

At least to everyone except his now stun parents who were staring at the couple with surprised expressions. I knew they weren't the only surprised ones.

Half the crowd had seen what Oliver and Derick did and were looking intently between the parents and them; almost begging for entertainment between the four.

I looked up at Edward,'Hate to ruin my birthday but do you think we should escort the two out of here?'

He bit his lip,'Yeah, most probably'

And we rushed to their aid, grabbed their hands and pulled them away from the crowd and out from the ballroom. Edward gestured to us to enter an empty living room.

'As much as the act was noble Oliver... what were you thinking? In front of that crowd?', Edward scolded.

'I thought it would be easier to come out and to let everyone know about it. No secrets', Oliver shrugged.

'And Derick? I guess the therapist won't be needed now', Edward told him.

'Therapist?', both me and Oliver asked, with bewildered expressions.

Derick looked menacingly at Edward then looked at us with blushed cheeks,'Yeah. Therapist. Edward was to be seen with me to avoid suspicion'

'You asshole', Oliver laughed,'Why on earth do you need therapy for?'

'Because of you idiot', Derick laughed.

Oliver was stunned by this and pulled Derick closer to him and kissed him again.

Edward squashed his hands between their tight embrace and separated them,'As much as I'm happy for you both, please refrain from smooching in front of me and Elena'

Oliver looked at me then at Edward,'But you guys display all that mush in public! Why can't we?'

Whiny Oliver was back now. I grinned. I was quiet all this time but I've been smiling wide ever since they kissed again.

Hell yeah!
I did it.
And In front of oh so many people!

Oh my god, I'm just so flushed right now. When Derick told about his therapist and about the reason being me, I was so shocked and yet thrilled that I just kissed him only to be pulled apart by my idiotic brother.

He said,'As much as I'm happy for you both, please refrain from smooching in front of me and Elena'

I looked at Elena's grinning face and then to my brother's face,'But you guys display all that mush in public! Why can't we?'

Edward shrugged,'Because gay people kissing is gross'

'Edward!', Elena scolded.

'Don't scold him. And don't worry. If you guys don't want to see us canoodling... you won't see us for a while', Derick grinned.

I just wanted to kiss him again. Wait, a minute. I forgot something.

I immediately began to sing to Elena,'I'm going to pop some tags... got twenty dollars in my pocket... and I- I wanna feel blah blah blah this is fucking awesomeeeeee'

She laughed,'Blah blah?'

'Whoever remembered the lyrics to that  song? Happy birthday girlfriend', Oliver hugged me.

'Hey hey! She's my girlfriend!', Edward whined and Derick nodded violently.

'I'm gay! Me calling a girl girlfriend meant nothing!', I grin, taking advantage of being gay.

Yay! I can have girl talks with Elena now! Pretty pink candy floss and unicorns now.

'Woah woah wait', Elena said,'No girl talks with you'

Oh fish sticks, I said that out loud.

'Yeah you did it again as well', Derick pulled me into a hug and messed with my hair,'Why fish sticks though?'

I laugh at his cute confusion.

After the 'talk' with Oliver and Derick; Edward had whisked me to the rose garden.

He pulled me onto his lap as he sat on the cold marble bench,'twenty years... I'm dating an old woman!'

I playfully slap him,'A hot one of course !'

He pulls his face back and laughed,'Of course. A mighty hot one! Someone who looks so tasty...'

He leaned to kiss me and I did as well when a mew scared us out of our seats. Right there, next to the bench legs was Saphira.

'I'm starting to think I have bad luck with pets', Edward mumbled and I almost threw up through laughter

'Saphira's a good cat. Don't worry', I picked her up and cradled her in my arms as she mewed again; noticeably enjoying the attention.

'If you treat animals like that... I can only imagine the love you'd display for our maybe future kin', Edward said as he hugged me from behind,'I like that fantasy. It plays well in my head'

Future kin? He took our relationship that far? Yes, he's my soulmate. And one day, I'd wish to marry him and have children with him. I'd love my children with all my heart.

And I will always love Edward till the day I leave this world behind.
