After the interrogation, Clifford finds out that the man was part of a notorious radicle group called the Midas 40; a band of thieves who take anything they want in the most convoluted ways undetectable by the authorities. He was just sloppy at what he did, using a bunch of scholars to raid the vault, pathetic! Korah was waiting outside of Clifford's study for him. The guild master was relieved he was okay and loves his new look. It was never his choice to begin with and Korah's still not use to being the center of attention even after 12 years of working in the guild.

He explained to him the situation and understood, so Korah asks if he could take the week off. Clifford approved his time off, for a lot of people in the guild could use it as well. He was worried for him because he's been in the hospital one too many times this year. Instead of a week, the guild master graciously granted him a mandatory three week vacation. Though he asked for just a week, he'll accept it either way. As he heads out for home, every member gave him a weird look with a mixture of fear and jealousy. He tried to ignore that as he finally made out and into the underground business district.

Unlike Sorin who lives with his father Clifford and his other siblings, Korah wanted a place separate from their home and owned one of his stepdad's old apartments up top. As a guild master of finances, he owns a few of the residential towers for selling or condominiums for those less fortunate, a few of them being the tallest buildings in the city. Though it was sketching at the city streets even with the constant summer rain, Korah had a special elevator all to himself that leads all the way to the top of the tallest tower that use to be a 10-star luxurious hotel.

The Moonlit Nestle was considered to be the highlight of Gearton's luxury times, people from far and wide would stop here for great events and stays from the humdrum of their lives, typically those people would be important figures and celebrities of their time. The top floors hold up to fifty royal suites that would make any cringe with envy, and yet those time are far gone. When the Dreary Century began, Gearton lost its fame quickly as speculations began right in this hotel of sudden accidents and infestations.

The manager of the hotel couldn't take the infamy and blame for so long that he took his own life, that was a decade ago. He was one of the most well-respected business owner of Gearton until the stock his own hotel went under, leaving the deed and ownership right on his desk ready for grabs. The citizens had to take refuge from the eternal rain that bombarded their ground level homes to drenched hollows either in the overly crowed towers or reach for stable shelters from the storm.

A year of rain pouring down on the city without end was too much for the populous to handle physically and mentally. From that point, half of the city's population moved away from the unnatural torture in order to find new dryer homes to sojourn. They were unable to live under those conditions and rather take to chances of surviving in the outside world than drowning, but those who remain wanted to save their city somehow, by housing their citizens to more hospitable homes away the flooding and cold weather.

As time past by, Guild Master Clifford owned and provided the civilians homes within the buildings and redesigned  most of the buildings into tall residential towers with the combined efforts of the other guilds. Because of the guild's, people lived in that tower as their permanent stay, but they cannot access the top most complex for it had only on means of access which is the elevator.

Upon coming back home, he finds that it was still a mess from last time but he didn't care. Aside from the boxes, it used to be the previous building owner's luxury penthouse complete with a view of the city, though all Korah could see was endless rain and restaurant blimps flying around from building to building.

He finally got all his stuff moved in after a year in renovating, all of Team Pincer chipped in to help move his stuff in and help rewire the place for self-sustaining energy from the rainwater. He had everything for his dream home: A wide screen metrovison, a complete computator with three screens, an ice closet for the kitchen, a convertible couch bed for the living room, and a king size bed for his bedroom; two bathrooms included. The walls of his penthouse were lined with photos of his life or trophies of his adventures.

The penthouse does come with an outside patio with bar, but he didn't have much use for those since the terrible season and what not. Luckily there were cloudy days and when the chance was there, he set a tarp over the area in case guests come by. The rest of his mementos are boxed and lying around, he never got around to doing something about them. The need will rise to finally make this place a house, someday. As for right now, he needs to shed off his gear and take his mandatory R&R.

A lot ran through his mind about what happened today; the fact that he has some sort of power on him freaked him out a bit with him causing a scene. It must been connected to what happened to him back at the lagoon, yet he can't recall most of it. The only description he got from his teammates was that he became a weird creature in flames, they said that he was able to defeat the Mega Mermaids all by himself yet he still cannot recall of that ever happening. As he looks upon his tan hand, he contemplates about himself even more than often.

Korah never likes to be out of the loop of things that he doesn't know about especially if it's about himself.
