Korah's view transitions once more to see the Cloaked Djinn sent Shantae into their former home, the Chaos Realm. The Djinns were born from the influence of man's imagination and soon were created in the realm, making it their home. It use to be a paradise but now is a chaotic world inside out of reverse and unpredictability. The Djinns that followed her in made their territories and warped their environments to what they use to remember before they warred with the Genies.
He nearly vomited at the topsy turvy world just from looking at it causing vertigo. Shantae was a bit shaken up by that creature's overwhelming power, but she shook it off and had to move forward. She ventured through the Chaos and after just seeing the scenery of a broken up beach, it must've be a beautiful place. There was even structures depicting creatures of fantastic shapes and sizes, meaning that the Djinns were like monsters before. But her wonderings of the world was cut too short as gangs of creatures and minor Djinns attack her.
She battled and travelled her way through the Realm, fighting each of its areas of their Djinn rulers, from the Ice Leaking Volcano to the Mausoleum of the Reanimated her battles with each of them were trifling. Each Djinn ruling the area taunted her and tormented her about her Genie Half, but they underestimated her fighting skills and the magic she's acquired over her years. Each one fell miserably in defeat and soon condensed into Emblems. She never knew what they are for, but she kept them as a trophy for her triumph.
Korah"Okay, so each of these things used to be them, no wonder she freaked out. It must've been hard on her for being alone, here in his black of.. Blegh..."
While fighting her ways through the realm, she found some secrets lying around in hidden areas in , including a pathway to get back to the Real World. The only one to make it there back and forth was the Djinn of Fire; Ifrit. From what each Djinn was spouting about before their demise, they said that she can never hope to defeat Ifrit, unless she was asking for a death wish. It means that he's more powerful than the rest of what she's been fighting, they were fighting to torture her but he's going to do much worse from what she's heard.
After fighting several Djinn rulers, Shantae made to the Temple of Ashes; the only place that seemed uniformed. And as with the other rulers, Ifrit was waiting for her. Once she made her way into the last chamber, she finds a ruby portal with a man standing in front of it staring at it. He was a well-build tanned man with long blazing red hair, contemplating on his thoughts. He knew she was here and spoke to her.
???"So... Is it true?"
Past Shantae"😒What is?"
???"😕That you're a 'half' Genie?"
Past Shantae"😠Yeah, what of it? But are you really Ifrit?"
Past Ifrit"🤔Hmm... I am. But sometimes, I wonder if it's even worth it."
Past Shantae"🙁Huh? What are talking about?"
Past Ifrit"😔Don't you ever wanted a normal life? You know, being a real human girl?"
Past Shantae"😠I was a human girl once, but that was because I fight my Genie Side from being used."
Past Ifrit"🤔Interesting... And how did this happen?"
Past Shantae"It's a long story. But I don't have time for this!"
Past Ifrit"😈Oh, but that's the fun part about this place. Time is irrelevant here, and I got plenty of time."When she tried to pull a fast one making her way to the portal, he appeared right in front of her and slapped her onto the floor in the blink of an eye. It left a burned spot on her chick which soon faded away, she retaliated with her transformations but each one was thwarted by him. His strength was far beyond what she can pull off, but all he wanted from her was her ear, in a figurative sense. He was more inquisitive than the rest as he wanted to know of her impression of his home realm.
She told him that it was a dump, but she knew that it must've been serene at least once. Ifrit soon told her that it did, but ever since they warred against the Genies for the rule over the fate of humanity, the Djinns were warped by their at red towards the Genies. If left unattended, their world would change for the worse as it Arcady has. With what she's learned from this place, she pointed out that he once was friends with humans that became heroes. He didn't object as he was proud to have fought by their side once, but now he doesn't exist to them.
His only friends died out centuries ago and he blames the Genies for that, with anger boiling his blood he then transformed into his true beastly form. He challenged Shantae to a duel of magics, where they fought with all of their might and all of their powers. His tremendous flames nearly overwhelmed Shantae to the point of making her stagger, leaving her wide open for sucker punches. Their battle was daunting and arduous that the intensity of their clashes made his temple crumb and collapse, leaving nothing but a floating arena.
Shantae was at the end of her rope as she collapses on the floor breathing heavily, while Ifrit was still holding on to his consciousness. They were both heavily damaged, and Ifrit was about to pull a desperate move. He raised his arms and started to channel the last of his power into forming a fireball, it slow grows into a sphere of whirling flames and than to a miniature star, this was his infamous and most powerful spell; Hellfire. He was going to finish off the last of the Genie Daughters to his last breath, that is until she made her own magical sphere of white magic and smashes it into his abdominal area.
Her last move actually managed to defeated him for he transforms back into his subhuman self, kneeling in pain and exhaustion. Yet that made him lose control of his death bomb of a spell, which might be the a condensed equivalent to a supernova. In a desperate attempt to save his own life, he jumps towards through his portal and plans on leaving her in the explosion. He made it out and shuts his portal before the blast can get to him. He was transported to an open field of grass and forest, where Korah was transition again, gawking at what he just witnessed.
In Ifrit's mind he finally finished her off, but little did he know that he had a passenger on his pants. As he walks into the forest aimlessly, a little injured mouse jumped out of his undergarments and garments and scurried off to her home. Korah knew what's happening and followed the mouse. She scurried all the way through the nightly forest and found her way the outskirts of Scuttle Town.
----------I have never lost a fight in my entire existence, but this girl was more than I bargained for. She reminds me of my old friends from back then. Maybe I was wrong to fight her, did she really deserve this? Wait, why did we fight the Genies in the first place?
