"Jace, you do have a habit of making things worse don't you?" Magnus sighed, thinking of how he could help fix this.
"Me... thats rich coming from you," Jace snapped.
"AND whats that supposed to mean?" Alec replied, getting protective over Magnus.
"You still don't get it do you... This wouldn't be happening if it wasn't for you two. Friendship groups are meant to stay friends for a reason. You guys getting together made everyone else think its ok to be more than friends and thats how groups fall apart. Alec if you hadn't left me for Magnus I would have never confessed my love to Clary" Jace shouted, taking his aggression out on them, not really meaning anything he said.
Magnus stood up not taking these accusations "Wow Jace I knew you were stupid but I didn't realise you were pathetic too. Mine and Alec's relationship has nothing to do with this love triangle you're in and don't try and point the blame because trust me there is plenty you've done that I could tell Alexander and he would never forgive you,"Magnus gave a stern look knowing Jace knew exactly what he meant.
"You wouldn't..." Jace scowled.
"Tell me what" Alec demanded.
"Jace was the one who outed you to your parents,"Magnus blurted out.
Alec froze, his brain just processing what he heard, tears building in his eye from the shear betrayal he felt "how could you?"
"Alec i'm so sorry, it wasn't my secret to tell I shouldn't..."
"Why?" Alec bellowed, becoming increasingly impatient and agitated
"Because I was scared we wouldn't be as close. I... I didn't want to lose my best friend," Jace admitted.
"It's too late, you already have," Alec said coldly.
"Alexander he..." Magnus put a hand on Alec's shoulder trying to calm him down.
"No!" Alec pushed his hand off, "You should have told me," Alec said angry.
"Alec," Magnus said softly,
"Get out both of you!" He screamed unable to control it.
