After a while they forget
While you're left with regret,
Wishing there was a reset
to all the wasteful memories,
praying for a quick summary.
Wherever you needed me
is where you had me,
You always squeezed me in
For your own benefit.
If it meant never sleeping alone,
Then it was worth it.
If it meant never being on my own,
Then I could cope with it.
I don't wanna be yours,
I don't even wanna be mine.
So let's leave our secrets in between the lines.
This time I wasn't blind,
I just cut my eyes out
and paid for the fines.
In between being cold and distant
I found my warmth in between your kisses.
With your lips came diseases,
That I am bound to live with
and no medication could possibly fix this.
I guess our love story was detrimental,
Because i'm slowly losing my mental,
and i'm cooling it down with stress and deep breaths.
You were just some one to fill the void,
I guess you do crazy things when you get bored.
