Ana's POV
"So, do you want to go for breakfast?" Lilah asked.
We were laying in bed talking.
"Sure, why not, we haven't done that forever." We use to go to breakfast all the time.
I went in and had a shower and when I came out Lilah was in my wardrobe.
"Just looking for something to wear." She said digging around "Oh and Matt called, like six times, I finally answered it." She looked at me strangely. "I told him you'd call him back."
I nodded "I'll call him."
I pulled out a dress to wear.
"Shower time." Lilah said disappearing into the bathroom.
I grabbed my phone and dialed Matt.
"Well hello." he answered.
"Hey, sorry I missed your call." I told him "I was in the shower."
"So, what are you doing?" he asked.
"Matt it's only 8.30, what are you even doing out of bed." I laughed.
"Aww shut up, I need sleep, leave me alone."
"Lilah and I going for breakfast." I told him, smiling to myself. "You should come."
"Yeah I don't know, girl time and all that and well Lilah probably wouldn't want me there any way." he said.
I closed my eye's, just say it, I told myself.
I took a deep breath "I want you there."
He went quiet.
Oh no, what had I said. "But you know, you don't have to come."
"No." he said suddenly.
"No what?" I asked
"I mean yes, I want to come." he said quietly.
"OK, um good." Thankgod.
We organised a time and I hung up.
I smiled and got ready.
"Well you've certainly put in effort." Lilah said looking me up and down.
"Oh stop it. Let's go" I said grabbing my bag.
We took my car and sat at a table outside.
Lilah and I saw him at the same time.
He smiled walking over.
"Oh, I get it now." Lilah whispered. "You and Matt."
I looked at her "No."
"Rubbish, hey Matt."
He sat down next to me and I smiled at him.
"Hey" he said.
He looked at me and smiled.
He had a great smile. I needed to stop staring.
"What are you ladies up to today?" he asked.
"I have no idea." Lilah said "Ana what are we doing?"
I shrugged "I don't know, what are you asking me for?"
"Well I hate to break it to you Lilah. " Matt said "But Ana and I have a date to finish, so sorry, she'll be with me the rest of the day."
Yes, yes I was spending the day with Matt.
I looked at the two of them "Let's order." and of course I was smiling.
