Ana's POV
I was so nervous on the drive over and then when I pulled up and saw Brian there I didn't know what to think.
They were standing at the door talking.
Did Matt ask Brian to come over too?
I looked at Matt and oh god.
I got out and walked over. Brian hugged me then he went inside.
Matt told me he had no idea he was coming over, but I wondered.
We sat around talking, well Brian talked, Matt and I said very little, that was until Matt mentioned he'd seen my mom today.
He'd been and seen my mom? Why?
I looked at him, sitting there. What was I doing here? This was ridiculous.
I had the sudden urge to leave, I didn't know why.
Then Brian mentioned Amber and that was it.
I stood up "I should go."
I started towards the door.
"Stay." Matt said.
And I stopped. I wanted to stay, but I was too scared to stay.
Brian suddenly left, they were talking about something I couldn't hear as he was leaving.
Matt closed the door and turned to me.
"Let's sit down." And he walked over to the couch.
"Yeah...no...maybe I should leave." Shit....I didn't know what I was doing.
"No Ana, please." he said softly.
I walked over and sat down.
He looked at me, and I wished he wouldn't, I wanted to reach out and touch him.
"You know nothing happened, it was bullshit." He looked at me again.
"Well I know now." I looked down at my hands.
"For christ sake, will you at least look at me." He moved closer to me.
I looked at him.
"Matt, your my best friend, and I don't want to lose that, and this, would it even work?"
He didn't answer me, he just reached out and pulled me into his arms.
I put my face into his chest and breathed in. He smelt so good, I couldn't stay away from him, it would be impossible.
He put his lips near my ear "It's too late Ana, I can't look at you without thinking about kissing you."
I closed my eyes, thank god he felt that way.
We sat there like that for awhile.
"You went and saw my mom?" I asked sitting back to look at him.
He smiled at me. "Well, you wouldn't talk to me."
And he leant over and kissed me. It was as good as I remembered it.
He pulled away and looked at me.
"Don't." I whispered pulling his face back to mine. "Don't stop."
