I don't have a game plan today. I don't even feel like talking to him.

Last night, I hardly slept. My emotions have calmed down from the initial burst I had when I first woke up, although the seething hatred has settled in the pit of my stomach. Fate killed me. Then, he turned me into what I hate most. After yesterday, all I have to thank him for is the knowledge on the other immortals. Not that I will ever meet them. Hopefully.

If I wasn't so hungry, I would continue brooding in my room until I've calmed. That was the plan this morning, until breakfast passed and lunch came.

I wish I wasn't wearing the clothes he had left for me. He has a particular taste in smocked summer dresses, unless of course, he simply cares about the climate we are in. This magically altered climate.

As I step outside the room, I'm not as worried as usual. My toes find the glass barely on the surface of the water easily. Striding across it. I look out for Fate in the small bay, seeing it completely unoccupied. A part of me is grateful, however, my stomach protests with a loud grumble.

Once my feet touch the sand, I notice to my right, that Fate is sitting in the shade of one of the pillars. I barely notice him beckon me over as my eyes catch on the table of food in front of him.

"Good afternoon," Fate says cheerily, eyes brushing over my outfit before they meet my eyes again.

I ignore him, finding a seat opposite him.

He watches me, almost instantly noticing how I'm not answering him. I don't plan to either. He took my life away from me, so if he expects anything other than the silent treatment, he's insane. My original plan has been turned on it's head, which means I need time to construct a new one before he kills me. Again.

"Hungry?" he asks, nodding down to the table in front of him. It wouldn't surprise me if this all magically appeared, since I don't remember seeing this table earlier.

I nod, glancing down at the food he has layen out. It's an assortment of bread, meats and fruit. My stubbornness wants me to just sit there and match his gaze, however, I'm too hungry to protest any further. When he motions for me to eat, I don't hesitate any longer. He doesn't need to know how much I overthink these things.

"Life as an immortal treating you well?" he asks, matching his words to an infuriating smile.

He only smirks at the glare I give him.

He doesn't eat while I do. Instead, he stirs some kind of hot drink with a thin spoon, watching me. We don't make any further move to acknowledge each other until I am finished with my food. Now that I'm not longer hungry, I feel a little better, although not enough to let me handle Fate anymore than usual.

"Now would you be open for discussion?" Fate asks, as I wipe my hands on a napkin before sitting back in my seat.

My jaw clenches, which is a movement that doesn't go past him.

"I understand why you're angry, however, I did it in your favour. I knew you would say no, which is why I tested you. If you weren't an immortal, everything I want to teach you would be a lot harder. The immortals here would kill you, don't you get that?" he questions, seethingly calm.
