Garmau One Shots

"I'll Always Be There For You."

~Garroth and Aphmau are married with three kids~

[Aphmau's POV]

"Mommy chase me!" My youngest daughter said. I have two daughters and a son.

I started chasing her all over the yard, and my son joined in, with my oldest daughter silently watching. 

It was so much fun!

I felt like a kid again, so I closed my eyes and started smiling happily. The wind through my hair made me feel alive, and my children were squealing with laughter.

I started to run faster, and I opened my eyes and looked behind me. My children were trying to catch up, but they couldn't. I could still see their smiles on their faces, but then they turned to fear.

"Mom! Watch out!" I heard my oldest daughter scream. My happy expression turned into confusion. The last thing I saw was Garroth coming outside, and his horrified expression. And then everything went black.

[Garroth's POV]

"Aphmau!" I screamed. No answer. 

"Who saw what happened to her?" I asked when the blood started to flow.

My oldest daughter told me. "S-she was running around w-with P-peter and A-annabelle and she t-turned around to l-look at them and s-she fell down and b-bumped her head on a rock and looks l-like she dislocated her n-neck..."

I walked up to her. "Aphmau... someone! Get Zoey!!!" I screeched! My oldest daughter went to find her. I frantically grabbed some leaves to try and get rid of the blood, but it was no use. "Peter! Get some towels and... just get whatever you can find that will help! Now!" Peter nodded. I would do it myself, but I don't want to leave her side.

Annabelle still stood, eyes widened with fear. "Go inside, Annabelle. It will be fine." I hope.

Annabelle raced inside, tears streaming down her face.

A little while later Zoey came. It was a blur from then. Lots of tears, Zoey took Aphmau to the Phoenix Drop care center, and I followed. I sent the kids with Laurence for a bit, and I stayed with Aphmau until she woke up.

[Aphmau's POV]

I woke up with the feeling of a warm hand linked into mine. I also heard snores. I managed to open my eyes and see my surroundings. To my right Zoey and Cadenza talking, not paying attention to me. Under me was a soft bed, and in front of me was a bunch of machines, the only machines in Phoenix Drop are in the care center; I must be in there.

I looked to my left. I saw a sleeping Garroth, his hand linked to mine, and a couple dried up tears on his face. I smiled. He stayed here the whole time. "Garroth." I said hoarsely. I really needed to drink some water. I tried to touch him to wake him up with my other hand, but a sharp pain stopped me. I looked over at it, and it had a cast on it. My neck did too. My head also hurt a lot, probably a migraine.

"Garroth." I said a little louder. He stirred in his sleep, and his eyes opened. "Aphmau? Aphmau!" He shrieked! Zoey and Cadenza looked over, and they shrieked with happiness too.

"She's awake! She's awake!" Garroth cheered, with Cadenza and Zoey cheering along. I smiled. "What happened?" I asked. "Apparently, you were running around and fractured your head and hand, and got a small migraine." Zoey said. I frowned. "Sorry, everyone, I should have payed attention where I was going."

"Well, you wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for Garroth. He stayed with you until you woke up, and apparently fell asleep." Garroth tilted his head in embarrassment. "Garroth, is that true? You stayed with me until you woke up?"

"I'll always be there for you, Aphmau." He said. And that was that. I smiled happily, and he kissed me on the forehead. "And I'll stay by your side until you are well enough to leave the care center."
