"She's still not here, huh," You muttered to yourself, wondering about Recovery Girl's whereabouts. Aren't nurses or doctors supposedly be ready in case of lethal injuries that requires immediate medical attention? Of course, you don't have that kind of injury, but just precautions, you know?

Waiting patiently on the clinic's provided bed, your gaze traveled down on your still-untreated swollen wrist, only for you to wince at the painful sight. You're not fully equipped with your costume anymore, with your visor and arm armors just laying on the table beside you, as to while your cloak is placed down on the bottom side of your bed.

Sighing, you trailed your eyes towards a certain cold character who was still unconscious on the bed right next to you, the curtains unveiled for you to see him perfectly. Shoji was already up a moment ago, probably because he didn't overexert himself unlike what Todoroki did, which made you worry for the lad's well-being. Hopefully, you didn't permanently damage him in any way; he should be awake by now.

Or maybe you just simply kissed his hand wrong..? Ugh, when desperate times call, you really do lose all common sense.

But...

Slowly getting off bed, you neared the sleeping male, specifically staring at his hand with pure hesitance, not sure if you should continue your upcoming intention. He looked peaceful enough; with his costume's ice armor no longer in tact, he's comfortable. He's not pale anymore; definitely not sweating-- he looks calm. He's okay... Is he? But, what is there to lose if you, at least, try? You still have a couple of batteries left on your belt; so, you don't have to worry about tiring your body by passing your stamina on others.

Just in case...

You reached your hand out for his, trying to be as sneaky as possible as you stole quick glances at the boy to reassure yourself that he's still out cold. Once your (s/c) skin made contact with his, everything just went into a blur, only for you to end up seeing him grabbing you by the wrist. You somehow felt relieved that you didn't use your sprained wrist in this situation, otherwise, with his grip strength, you would've cried out of pain. And, oh, how you've hated crying in front of anybody.

"What are you doing?" His eyes may look stoic, but there's something malicious behind his passive gaze; whether it was intentional or not, was beyond you. Soon, he sat right-up, still holding onto your mentioned limb.

"I-I was just checking on you. Shoji already woke up a while ago, and I was starting to worry, a-and I plan to make sure you're okay by redoing my quirk on you so..." You trailed off, stopping your seemingly endless utterances, after taking notice of how impatient Todoroki looked at you, but on the bright side, he let you go. Gosh, Midoriya's habit was starting to rub off on you.

Honestly, the feeling Todoroki currently feels right now is none other than humiliation... from how you easily managed to bring him on his knees. He underestimated you, thinking how he got everything under control-- which was foolish of him, considering the fact that he was even completely aware of how little he knows about your quirk. Additionally, you placed third place-- just right below him. Any more and you would've surpassed him. He had let his guard down on you, but the next time? He'd be sure of your defeat.

You were inexperienced, untrained in fighting-- as to while everyday of his life, he trained hard to do his best performance in this school; yet, guess who lost their first match? You were sloppy; he was agile, but perhaps you've won by luck. Damn, this news won't rub off well to his father. Endeavor would surely tell him that he has to use his other side to win, practically drilling his beliefs in his head.
