Chapter 45

Recap: You have been disqualified from the Sports Festival, after having One For All lose control resulting for you to attack Bakugou and All Might, with Eraserhead following behind to disable your second quirk thus freeing you from One For All's control. Now, you're at the clinic, while Bakugou, Shinsou, Todoroki, and Monoma were awarded with the top three places. Your quirk is Energy Manipulation and OFA.

     The awarding ceremony ended shortly after it began, with All Might giving the medals to the winners, along with a short and quick speech for the crowd. The whole time, the Symbol of Peace was struggling to keep a smile on his face for the cameras and the public's eyes, especially after your "fight" with him. Toshinori needs to reassure the people that he was unaffected by the incident; indifferent with his signature grin, like he always does throughout his career as a hero.

In regards about his career, his successor, Midoriya was now conscious; his arms, bandaged similar to Aizawa's, strapped to his chest, as he stood with the crowd, watching his mentor put on medals on a bothered Monoma, a poker-faced Shinsou and Todoroki, and surprisingly, a non-lethal Bakugou.

And just like that, the awardees' ceremony was finished.

The crowd started to disperse-- the reporters were about to go to their designated companies to publish news regarding what they've gathered from the events of the Sports Festival, but mainly about your performance, rather than the victories attained from the occasion. The Yuuei students-- including the staged ones-- however, were now headed towards their own classrooms; no doubt having a new gossip topic for the whole school. As for the teachers, the advisers of each class were expected to accompany their class to their buildings, leaving a few people behind.

All Might, Present Mic, Midnight, and Cementoss watched as Eraserhead led the 1-A students to their rooms, without the two absentees-- Iida and (L/n), leaving the remaining teachers on the no longer populated arena.

"Well, on the bright side, it's a day to remember, right?" Hizashi attempted on lightening the mood, which snapped All Might from his staring contest with a nearby wall; he subconsciously got distracted there for a whole minute before the loud blonde's interruption.

"Hey, you okay? The kid did seem to pack a punch," Midnight remarked, noticing that the smile on the Symbol of Peace's muscly face was completely replaced by a frown. Instinctively, the blonde hero tried to bring his signature smile back, and was about to talk about you, but immediately thought against it.

He was so out of it, Yagi almost forgot that only a handful of people know about your secret relationship with the number one hero-- and his co-workers were none of them; so, he immediately shut his mouth close before it could even utter a word to them. Talking to them about his personal issues is not an option.

But that doesn't mean that there are no people available to hear him out. With the thought of the older (L/n) in his mind, he was more than ready to leave (including the fact that his time-limit was running out).

Just on cue, his cellphone rang, emitting an annoying ringtone that Hizashi and Nemuri had unfortunately grown used to, as Ishiyama (Cementoss) remained unbothered. As soon as the phone resounded from his pocket, All Might transformed back to his normal self, due to the fact that the people who have his number identifies him as Toshinori Yagi; not the Symbol of Peace.

"Hello?" Toshinori was quick to answer the call, only for an urgent voice to greet him back. In the midst of the caller's exclamations, the blonde's eyes widened, as his smile totally slackened, causing for his co-workers to worry over whatever was being discussed.
