Training Day 4: Midoriya Izuku

It's now Tuesday, with no homework given for the past two school days-- it seems like your homeroom teacher, Aizawa-sensei, along with the other teachers, thought about their students' plans, and gave you guys the opportunity to have free time for training. So far as the raven-haired adviser observed, his students were improving based from their performance is his practical tests. And once again, the day ended as if time skipped itself.

Once you were done packing your things, a certain greenette approached you, causing for you to think that it was quick of him to get over whatever was bothering him.

"H-hey, (Y/n)-chan, would you like to train together?" Midoriya offered, a hand scratching the back of his nape as a mannerism of his. You just stared at him, unsure whether to take this chance to actually talk to him or evade the opportunity due to the fact that he'd probably mess up talking to you and say things that could accidentally hurt your feelings-- actually, this has happened before; so, you wouldn't be surprised. Despite being all sweet, he has the tongue that can cut you up with its pure honesty. But for your childhood friend, you'd take that chance.

After all, Midoriya was well-aware of what you did yesterday. He knew you long enough to be able to read your intentions. You two were open books to one-another, and that greatly helped your communication skills with him, and vice-versa. He knows that he had somewhat hurt your feelings by the subconscious avoidance of your presence.

His reason? For one, he was now intimidated by you, now that he fully knows your family background. Secondly, he might slip up, and accidentally tell you of what All Might actually means to you, to which the blonde hero clearly stated at some meetings with him that he'd be the one to tell you, himself. He clearly didn't want to screw his idol's chance reconciling with you. But he didn't realize that he was slowly slipping away from you, due to those anxieties. It was some dilemma, that's for sure. In fact, asking you to train with him wasn't planned at all!

"Hm? Yeah, sure!" You agreed, having to give him a small smile to appreciate his unspoken efforts of making it up to you.

"Great! Let's train at my place!"

"Oh? What brings you here, (Y/n)-chan?" The green-haired mother asked, an index finger under her chin to seemingly emphasize her question.

"I'm here to train with Izu-kun, is that alright with you, Inko-san?" As her answer, she just nodded her head, flashing you a cute smile before letting you and her son enter the household.

"We're not really gonna do any duels or battles at the moment, cause my quirk um, y'know..." The greenette trailed off as he led you to his room-- the same room back when you had sleepovers with him as kids. You remembered that Kacchan used to be part of the sleepovers too.

"That's okay. It's nice not trying to beat anyone's asses at the moment. Plus, I need some time for my bruises to recover," You snickered, as Midoriya eyed you curiously, silently questioning you with his eyes if you've already trained with other people. Once he got that you didn't get the message, he voiced out his thoughts.

"Oh, you've trained with others before?" It wouldn't actually surprise him if you did say 'yes'. After all, that could've been what you've done with the indigo-haired guy, who you've walked home with the other day.

"Yeah, I trained with Shinsou, Monoma, and Kacchan!" Midoriya didn't recognize the first two names, but was surprised once he heard the last one.
