Training Day 3: Shinsou Hitoshi
Dismissal came in, and your classmates were ecstatic to get out of the room to either go out or just train for the Sports Festival. It's a Monday, but for some reason it didn't felt like it-- probably because people are more focused on the Sports Festival rather than class lessons. It's very reasonable; after all, the results of the Sports Festival would reflect on your future careers as heroes.
"(Y/n)-chan, hurry up! Let's walk home together!" Uraraka offered, gesturing to her other two friends-- Iida and Midoriya. You've noticed that every time you interact with the greenette he would often stammer more than he used to; as if he just knew you, and his awkward personality took over your progress with him as close friends. You didn't pry on it any further, due to the fact that this is a problem you'd like to settle with after the Sports Festival. For now, you'll remain quiet... and give Izuku some space to give him a chance to clear his head.
"Sorry guys, not today. Go on without me," You waved at them, signalling them wordlessly that your decision was final. They just stared at you from the classroom door, a questioning look plastered on their faces.
"Eh? Why?" You just sighed at the brunette's inquiry, silently wanting her not to pursue her interrogation about why you didn't want to join them at their walk to the train station.
Looking at Midoriya, you saw his face contort into one of worry, making you heave out a made-up reason-- a white lie.
"Nah, I just promised someone to walk home with them," You really hoped that once you exit the classroom, you'd get to bump into someone you know. Or anyone actually, but it would be awkward to ask someone you don't know to walk with you. "See ya!" After packing your stuff, you exited the room, leaving the three to ponder over what you just said.
Walk with whom, exactly?

Walking around the school corridors, you tried to find a familiar face; so, you wouldn't look suspicious to the trio that you just lied to. Guilt was tugging at your heart, but you convinced it that it was for the sake to give Midoriya the chance to think through the problems he's facing right now. Usually, you try to help him solve these problems out, but this was different. This time, you seemed to be a part of the problem.
Distracted by your trail of thoughts, you bumped onto a tall student, resulting for you to stagger back and look at the person you just jolted on.
"(L/n)-san?"
"Shinsou-kun?"
The exchange was short and kind of awkward, but was then replaced with pleasantry once the indigo-haired male continued the conversation.
"Hm, I see that you've been healed by Recovery Girl. Do you feel okay?" He asked, before you nodded your head as your answer.
"Yeah! What about you? How have you been?" You ushered for the conversation to grow longer, and the next thing you knew, you were walking out of the school with him, and just in time for Uraraka, Midoriya, and Iida witness that you weren't lying about your intentions. Although, they were surprised that you chose to hang out with the student that declared war on your class, but chose to keep walking rather than making a fuss about it.
"Same old, actually. No bullying, albeit there was a bit of avoidance of my presence, but I prefer this than our old school,"
"That's... good. Hopefully, they'll warm up to you soon. School just started, after all. Once they get to know you, I'm sure they'll like you, cause I know I do," You chuckled, hitting his arm playfully, as he idly rubbed the spot where you had hit him.
