Quick note before continuing: The battle trial was supposed to be yesterday, but I changed the timeline and let a weekend pass before dealing with class again, thus, this chapter took place on a Monday. That's it, and enjoy.

"What are your thoughts on how All Might teaches your class?!"

"Please leave me alone." You politely declined the reporters interrogating you, as you proceeded your way towards the school gates, only to be halted by a group of paparazzi. "I have no comment; so, if you'd let me pass please, I'd be very thankful. I don't want to be late for class," You gave them an uneasy smile, as you tried squeezing your way in. You knew that the paper yesterday would affect your way to school.

Suddenly, a monstrous shadow made its way to separate you and its wielder from the reporters, finally making it easier for you to breathe, and enter the school premises with no set-backs.

"She asked you to let her pass..." A voice calmly reprimanded, before letting his bird-like shadow retreat back to his back, then proceeded escorting you towards class. Once the two of you entered the school grounds, the gate sensed your IDs and lifted itself up to let you in, before immediately crashing down to avoid any reporters following behind, acting as a barrier. "Are you alright, (L/n)-san?" The boy you recognized as your classmate, Tokoyami, asked, making you give him a reassuring nod, and a bright grin.

"Thanks to you," You remarked, lightly elbowing him to show your gesture of appreciation, to which he just awkwardly returned back, unsure if that was the right response to your act. "Man, your quirk, Dark Shadow, really got me out of the pickle there,"

"You might as well get used to it. Once you're an official hero, the press would bother you in a daily basis," He remarked, before taking a turn to which you followed. Walking beside him, you gave out a hum of thought, curious of something.

"Hey, Tokoyami-kun, speaking of 'official hero', why do you want to be a hero?" The bird-like student trailed his cardinal eyes at you, trying to piece out your intentions of why you'd ask such a question. So far, he concluded that there's no harm telling you.

"To prove that the darkness is not equivalent to evil; that the people who belong in the shadows have the capability to save others too. One day, I will show that the dark can work alongside with the light. That is the purpose of why I want to be a hero," He stated, making your eyes spark with inspiration. The first time you asked Midoriya why he wanted to be a hero, he told you that he wanted to save people with a smile on his face; like All Might. And when you asked Bakugou back then, he said he wanted to win in every fight; like All Might.

It's nice to know that not all hero ideals revolve around All Might. You finally heard something new from the shadow-user, Tokoyami. Always good to hear something new once in a while, no?

"So, continue reaching for that dream, and don't give up. That's a great ideal to stick with," You remarked, catching the lad off-guard. "At least your physical attribute is not the only thing unique about you," Tokoyami faced away, a blush fighting its way to his feathered cheeks; not entirely used to flattery aimed for him.

"T-thank you..." He managed to utter out, a bit embarrassed, before entering the Class 1-A classroom, as you followed just right behind him.

"Morning, (Y/n)-chan!" A voice called out, making you face its owner.

"Oh, morning Ocha-chan," The brunette blushed at the unexpected given nickname, then managed to shrug it aside, as she neared you. "Is Izu-kun here yet?" You asked, as she gave out a pout at her concluded thoughts.
