Kayla's POV

"Kayla Jepson! I don't even know what to say to this, why did you go get your nose pierced and 2 tattoos without my consent?" my dad yelled, it was never like her to yell at me, "What's the big deal? I already have tattoos and piercings anyway" I stated, "You never told me Kayla, do you not understand, you're only 17" he said, "Exactly dad, I'm 17, will you stop treating me like I'm 12, I'm a big girl. I know I've made mistakes before, don't you think I made up for them Dad? Look, I don't know what you did at my age to make you have to baby me, but I'm not like that, I've made all the bad mistakes I can make dad, I wish you would treat me like a 17 year old" I said, "I just don't want you to make bad choices again Kayla, be careful" dad said walking away, I sighed deeply, that's the worst argument I've ever had with my dad.

I went up to my room and sat on my bed, I looked around at my messy room and sighed, arguing with myself about whether to tidy my room or not, I was just about to give in and tidy it when my ringtone blasted out through the room, "Hello?" I asked without looking at the caller ID, "Hi Kayla" Luke said, "Hey Luke, what's up?" I asked, "Nothing, I just wanted to ask if you wanted to go out for a McDonald's or something?" he asked, "Yeah, sure, come pick me up in ten minutes" I said, "Okay, bye" he said hanging up.

"I got two new tattoos" I said to Luke as I sat in the car, "Really, can I see them? You also got your nose pierced" he said pointing to my nose, "Yeah, and sure" I said showing him the tattoo on my wrist and the small one on my hip bone, that was quite awkward to show him, but I managed quite well, "They're nice Kayla" Luke complimented, "Thank you Luke" I said as we pulled up to McDonald's.

"What do you want?" Luke asked, "Wow Luke, you've known me for over two weeks and don't know my McDonald's order?" I asked laughing, "We haven't really came to McDonald's much, in my defence" he defended, I laughed, "I guess so, i'll just have a medium chicken nugget meal with a strawberry milkshake please" I said smiling, "Grab a table and i'll go get the food" Luke said heading towards the cashier with a big frown on her face, she must be so happy with that look on her face.

"There you go" Luke said, placing a tray of food down, we grabbed our food and moved the tray out the way. We were sat at a 2 person booth, facing each other, and eating in silence, not an awkward one though. "What did your dad say about your new tattoos?" Luke asked, "He went mad and strayed shouting at me, telling me I was only 17 and should have gotten her consent, I just told him to stop treating me like a baby" I said laughing, he chuckled, "Are you excited about the wedding?" he asked, "Yeah, a bit. Are you and the other guys coming? Obviously Ashton is" I said, "Yeah we're coming, you're not getting rid of us just yet Kayla" he said, "And what makes you think I want rid of you?" I asked, "So you don't want rid of me?" Luke asked smirking, "I never said that" I said, "So you do want rid of me?" he asked, "No, I don't" I admitted, placing a chip in my mouth, followed by another one.

Luke's POV

It's now or never I guess.

"Kayla" I said looking into her eyes, she smiled, "Yeah?" she said, "Will you, um, will you be my girlfriend?" I asked, she looked into my eyes for a few seconds before nodding, "Yes Luke" she said, I smiled as we continued eating our McDonald's.

Kayla's POV

"Yes Luke" I said while nodding, Luke smiled and we finished off our McDonald's, he finally asked me to be his girlfriend, and I said yes.

I can't let him hurt me like everyone else.

"Do you want me to take you home now? Or do you wanna go somewhere?" Luke asked once we had ate, "I don't mind Luke, it's up to you" I said, "How about we go to my house and watch a film or something" Luke suggested, "Sure, I haven't met your parents yet either" I said chuckling, "You can meet them, and my dog" he said laughing, I chuckled as we drove towards his house to watch a film.
