Chapter 33

Kayla's POV

"Be here tomorrow at the same time everyone! See you all then! We start dance rehearsals tomorrow so be prepared" Stephanie said as everyone left the hotel, "Kenz are you coming to my house or going home?" I asked, "I have to go to my house and get clothes, is that alright?" Kenzie said, "Obviously" I said laughing and driving to her house, waiting on her grabbing a bag with a few pairs of clothes, underwear, pyjamas and whatever else she would need.

We went back to my house and went inside to find Ashton, Luke, Calum, Michael and Ashley on the sofa, Ashton had Ashley on his chest while they all were watching Dora the explorer, I quickly took a photo without them noticing and uploaded it on to twitter.

"Hey guys" I said, causing everyone to turn to us, "Is Ashley sleeping yet? Where's my dad and Anne?" I asked, "They went out like three hours ago saying they would be home soon, and we're still waiting" Ashton said, "And yeah, she's sleeping, you wanna put her to bed?" he added, "Sure" I said lifting her gently off Ashton's chest and taking her upstairs to her cot.

Ashley was almost three months old so she was still tiny and really fragile, but she was getting bigger each day, my dad and Anne had to keep getting her new clothes all the time, well I spoiled her all the time, at least once a week I would buy her something new, Anne still wouldn't let me put jeans on her though, I was determined I would be buying her her first pair of converse and first pair of jeans, whenever she would fit into a pair of shoe converse.

I went back down the stairs and sat next to Luke, he wrapped his arm around me and I placed my head on his shoulder, "What's for dinner? I am so fucking hungry" I said, "There's leftover pasta in the fridge if you want that" Michael said, "Or I could just make spaghetti, do you want some kenz?" I asked, "Yeah sure" she said as I went to the kitchen to make just about the only thing I could: spaghetti.

After two weeks of non stop filming, dancing and singing, the video was finally finished, "Kayla you can tweet your followers and tell them the video will be out on Friday" Stephanie said, "Okay steph" I said pulling my phone out and tweeting.

@kaylaoffic: my first ever proper video will be available to watch on Friday at 4 pm Sydney time!

I looked up at Stephanie and she smiled at me, "Im proud of you!" she beamed, "Thanks" I said, "Okay have you got any other songs you've written?" she asked, "Yeah, I've got twelve, including the six I already had" I said, "Great! Super! Enough for an album! I'll book a recording studio for this week and next and we'll get the album sorted" she said, "Okay, sounds good" I said, "Meet me here tomorrow at nine" she said, "You're free to go now, see you tomorrow" she said, "Bye" I said as I drove Kenzie home, "Bye kenz, see you soon" I said smiling as she left and I drove home.

I went in and collapsed on to the sofa, "You look exhausted honey, how about I run you a nice hot bath" Anne said, "Thanks, but I promised Luke we would hang out tonight, we never get to see each other anymore" I said, "Im sure he would understand" she said, "No it isn't fair on either of us" I said sitting up and texting Luke.

I stood up and went outside to MY car, I finally bought myself a car, it was the first thing I bought with my money I got from singing.

I knocked on Luke's door and he answered smiling, "Hey Kayla! What's wrong? You look exhausted" he said hugging me, "I am! Stephanie has had me dancing and singing and jumping around like an idiot for the past two weeks" I said sighing, "You didn't have to come! You could have just went to sleep" he said, "No! I didn't wanna do that to you, we hardly see each other as it is" I said, "Its so hard! I can go weeks without seeing Anne and my dad, but going without seeing you is so damn hard" I said sighing, "This is your dream kayls! We're both living our dream, and we have each other" he said, "But we never get to see each other" I said, "That just makes the times we see each other even better, do you want something else to wear?" he asked, I looked down at my black denim shorts and white tank top, "Yeah" I said as he handed me a t shirt and pair of shorts.

I quickly changed into them and sat on the bed, "What film do you wanna watch?" Luke asked, "Monsters Inc!" I said, "My favourite" Luke said, "I know! It's mine too" I said laughing as I snuggled into Luke and watched the film.

"So have we recorded every song?" Stephanie asked, "Yes, there's twelve here" I said, "We need an album cover and you can tweet your fans saying they can pre order it tomorrow, it will be out next month" she said, I smiled, Yay!" I said tweeting all of my 1.2 million followers, I had no idea how I got so much followers so soon, I think it may have something to do with the help of 5sos and one direction, also I was big in the UK and Australia, but that's about it, I hadn't hit America yet, Stephanie said I wasn't ready yet.

@kaylaoffic: I have really big news to tell everyone! I think this calls for a twit cam!! Tonight 5pm Sydney time sound good?

I smiled at all the replies telling me that was okay and they were excited, some of them were guessing what it was, some of them clocked I had an album coming out, some thought it was a new single and others thought it was I was gonna be touring.

It was four o'clock now, and steph and I were in Starbucks gettin coffee, "How are you and Luke doing?" she asked smiling, that's what I liked most about Stephanie, she acted like my manager when she needed to, but she also acted like an aunt or big sister at other times.

"We're good, I'm struggling with not seeing him as much anymore though, it seems like whenever I have a day off, he has to work and vice versa, but he seems to act as if its alright" I said, "Its hard, trust me, but it gets easier Kayla, believe me" she said, "Does it?" I asked, "Yeah, you get used to it, and learn to cherish the times you are together" she said, "That's exactly what I needed to hear right now" I said laughing, "Can you drop me off at my hotel? I still don't have a car here, I really gotta get one" she said, I chuckled, "Sure, do you want to stop anywhere first or anything?" I asked, "No I should be okay" she said as we headed towards her hotel she was staying in.

I went home and signed on to twitter on my laptop, setting up the twit cam and brushing my hair, getting ready to tell my fans I had an album coming out next month.
