Chapter 12

Kayla's POV

"Anne, do you need help? Kenzie and I are ready" I asked, "Yeah, come help me, girls" Anne said as I opened the door, Kenzie and I had our bridesmaid dresses on, our hair was curled and pinned up, we had our make up done and our shoes were on, Anne had her hair and make up done but needed help with her dress and shoes, which is what we were doing.

"Thanks girls, you are stars, come on, we gotta go" Anne said as we headed out to the fancy wedding car.

"Wow there's loads of people here" I whispered to Kenzie as we both headed down the isle together, our arms linked and smiles plastered on our faces, my eyes caught with Luke's, who was sitting at the front of the church and smiling at me, I smiled back as Kenzie and I got to the front of the alter where we were instructed to stand.

After a long hour of the minister talking and preaching and what not, the service was over, Anne was my official step mum, Ashton my official step brother, and my dad was finally remarried to a woman who deserved him, and who he deserved.

"Well done guys" I said hugging my dad and Anne, "Thanks honey" Anne said, "Thanks Kayla" Dad said, "Lets go to the reception now" I said, "Wait, we have to get the photographer to take photos of us" Anne said, "Ashton we're now officially step brother and sister" I said laughing, "Hey sister" he said, "Hey brother! Where's Luke?" I asked, Ashton pointed to where Luke was, I headed over to where he was as Ashton left to get Kenzie.

"Hey Lukey" I said pecking his lips, "Kayla! Over here. Bring Luke too" Anne shouted, "Lets go Luke, I've been called for" I said laughing as we walked over hand in hand, "I want a picture of the both of you, then one of you two, Ashton and Kenzie, and then one of Ashton and Kayla" Anne said, "You sure know what you want" I said laughing as Luke and I stood for a picture, Luke had his arm around my waist and I had mine around his shoulder as we smiled at the camera.

"All four of you now" Anne said, I stood next to Ashton and Luke, while Kenzie stood on the other side of Ashton, Luke still had his arm around my waist as we smiled for the camera, "Ashton and Kayla now" Anne said, "Mum this is your wedding day, there doesn't have to be loads of photos of us" Ashton said laughing as he put his arm around my waist, I put my arm around his shoulder and we smiled for the camera. "You are all free to go and sit at your table now" Anne said laughing, I chuckled as Luke, Ashton, Kenzie and I headed towards the table where our names were, it was 7 to a table, and dad and Anne knew us all too well, at the table was me, Ashton, Kenzie, Max, Luke, Michael and Calum.

"This night is gonna be awesome" Michael said, "Yeah it is" I confirmed, "Its gonna get messy" Kenzie said, "Wait, Kayla, Luke, how old are you two? I believe you're only 17 which means you can't consume alcohol" Ashton said, "Wait a minute, that's not fair, my dad says I'm allowed to" I defended, "Yeah and I'm almost 18 anyway, my birthday is in July and its June just now" Luke said, "Im just messing guys" Ashton said laughing as he went to get us drinks.

"I have to sleep" I said grabbing the first hand I saw, it just so happened to be Luke's, "Take me home Lukey" I said as we staggered towards the door and got in the taxi, I gave the man my address and before I knew it we were at my house and were falling in the door and somehow making it up to my room, I ripped my dress off and fell asleep in my bra and underwear, Luke fell asleep next to me in his boxers, I was snuggled into him with the covers wrapped around us both.

"Morning Kayla" Luke said in such a sexy morning voice, "Morning Luke" I said standing up, not realising I was only in my bra and underwear, "Kayla, you might wanna put some clothes on" Luke said, I smirked, "Why Lukey? Don't you like it when I'm in my underwear?" I asked, the smirk evident on my face, "Of course I do, I just don't think it's very appropriate for your dad and step mum to be a couple of rooms away, or your step brother and his girlfriend in the next room" he said, "Oh well, some other time then" I said attaching my lips to his lightly before pulling back and grabbing a t shirt and shorts and heading downstairs to get something to eat.

"We're leaving for our honeymoon tomorrow" Dad said, "Oh yeah, where are you going?" I asked, "Its a surprise for your Anne, will you two be okay alone for two weeks?" He asked, "Yeah, I'm sure me and Ashton can go two weeks alone" I said chuckling, Ashton nodding in agreement. "Max leaves today" I added, "Where even is max?" Luke asked, "I don't know, I can't remember seeing him last night" I said, "I'll go call him" I added standing up to go call Max's phone.

"Max where are you?" I asked, "At Michael's house since you and Luke ditched me last night" he said, "Sorry I was wasted, I can't remember" I said laughing, "I'll grab your suitcase and head over to pick you up to take you to the airport, okay?" I said, "Okay Kayla, see you in ten minutes" he said, "See you soon" I said hanging up, "LUKE COME HERE" I yelled, I heard shuffling and a second later Luke was at my door, "Yes?" he asked, "We're taking max to the airport in ten minutes, we have to get his suitcase and pick him up from Michael's"I explained, "Okay babe" Luke said kissing my lips quickly, I smiled as I went to pick something to wear.

I chose black skinny jeans and a white t shirt, and white converse, I put on a black zipper and tied my hair into messy pony tail, I turned around to face Luke, "You ready?" I asked grabbing my phone, "Yeah let's go" he said as we walked downstairs hand in hand, "We'll be back soon" I said walking towards Luke's car with Max's suitcase.

"Bye Maxy I love you, text me" I said hugging him, he kissed my cheek, "Treat Luke well my little Kayla" he said, "I love you too Kayla, bye" he said boarding the and waving to us, "Lets go back to mine" I said, "We're stopping by mine first so I can change clothes" Luke said getting into the car and driving to his house.
