Chapter 11

Kayla's POV

"Kenzie come on, have you got everything?" I asked, "Towel, bikini, sun screen, bag with a magazine and my phone and earphones in it, anything I'm missing?" she asked, "Nope, sounds good, lets go" I said as we went downstairs, "Okay, we have 2 cars and there's 8 of us, who's going with Anne and who's coming with me?" dad asked, "I'll go with you dad" I said, "I'll come too" Luke said, "I'll come with you guys too" Calum said, "Okay, Kayla, Luke and Calum is coming with me, Ashton, Kenzie and Michael are going with Anne, lets go" dad said as everyone headed into their selected cars.

"Well, this is awkward" I commented a hd hour into the silent journey, "What's England like?" Luke asked, "Haven't you ever been?" I asked, "No, had you been to Australia before you moved here? I've never even been on a plane" he said, "Oh, well, it's just, I don't know actually" I said laughing, "Its just like here, I guess, except there's differences" I added, everyone laughed, "What?" I asked, "Nothing" my dad said laughing as we pulled up outside the beach, "You guys are mean" I stated before getting out and going to the other car, "They guys are being mean to me" I said, "Aw! Come here" Ashton said pulling me into a hug, I chuckled as we pulled back and headed towards the sand, I jumped on Luke's back, Kenzie went on Ashton's back and Michael went on Calum's back, my dad and Anne were just watching us while laughing, Luke was running towards an empty space where he sat his bag down and took of his t shirt, I took mine off too and my shorts, leaving me in my red and white stripes bikini, "Hop on again" Luke said, I jumped on his back again as he ran towards the ocean, before he reached the shore line, he slipped and fell, I fell down too, "SHIT" I screamed, I sat on the ground, I wasn't hurt but I couldn't be bothered getting up again.

"Are you okay Kayla?" Luke asked standing up, "Yeah" I said, grabbing his hand as he pulled me to my feet, "Im just gonna walk in" I said laughing, he laughed too as we walked into the sea where everyone else was already stood, throwing water at each other, pretending to drown each other, and hopping over waves, just the usual kind of stuff.

"Oh my god" I said, "What?" Luke asked, I looked up from my phone, "Max is on his way, he's getting on the plane right now" I said smiling, "Oh, cool" Luke said, I sat my phone on my bedside cabinet as I lay on my bed, I lay my head on Luke's shoulder, it's been over a week since Luke asked me out, it was last Thursday he asked me to be his girlfriend and its now the Monday of the following week, so it's been almost two weeks actually.

The wedding is on Saturday, and my dad and Anne are very stressed, Ashton and I have been keeping out of their way.

Ashton asked Kenzie out, and she's coming to the wedding too, she's a bridesmaid, and, luckily, she liked the dress I picked and got the same one. I was excited about it, Anne was nervous and excited and stressed.

"Luke" I said, "Yeah?" Luke asked, "Can we go out today? Im bored" I said, "Where do you wanna go?" he asked, "Anywhere, except adventure golf" I said, he chuckled, "How about we go to the cinema?" He asked, "Yeah sure" I said, "Will I ask the other guys? Or do you want it to be just us?" he asked, I looked up at him, "I don't mind" I said smiling as I pecked his lips, "Mmm, just us two" he said kissing me lightly.

"MAXY" I shouted as I lunged forward to where Max stood, I jumped into his arms and he caught me, luckily. "I missed you Kayla" he said into my hair, "I missed you too, look there's Luke" I said, "He's good looking" max said, "He's mine" I warned, he chuckled, "I have Dylan anyway Kayla" he said, I chuckled as he set me down and I grabbed his arm and dragged him towards Luke, "Luke this is Max, Max, this is my boyfriend Luke" I introduced them, "Nice to meet you" max said, "Yeah you too mate" Luke said taking my hand as we walked through the airport, "Where are you staying?" Luke asked max, "On my couch" I answered for him, "Okay, so what are we doing today?" max asked changing the subject, "Shopping" I said in a song song voice, "Woohoo" Luke said in mock excitement, "Hey Luke, don't be mean" I said laughing, he chuckled as he pecked my lips, and took my hand again.

Luke and I were like that, we always had to be showing each other some sort of affection and we always had to be touching, somehow, either holding hands, his arm around my waist/shoulders or my head on his shoulder, just stuff like that.

"I don't think you can buy anymore stuff Kayla" Max said, "Let me take something" he said, "No, let me take something Kayla" Luke said, the both of them had been bickering all day, honestly I think Luke is jealous of Max, I don't think he knows that Max is gay.

I really should tell him.

"Hey man, are you aware I'm not trying to get into Kayla, there's no need for you to be jealous" Max said, "I am not jealous" Luke said, jealousy clearly in his eyes, I like it when guys are jealous, it shows they actually care, "Luke, don't you know I'm gay, there's no need to worry" max said, "What? You're gay?" Luke said, Max nodded, "I am so sorry man, I feel like a dick" Luke said, "Lets go to Nandos and forget this ever happened, woohoo" I said skipping off towards nandos.

"I'm sorry for being jealous Kayla" Luke said, I smiled and pecked his lips, "It's okay Lukey, you're cute when you're jealous" I said, "Don't call me 'cute' I'm not cute" he said laughing, "Then you're pretty" I said, "I prefer cute, yeah, cute works" he said, I chuckled as we finished off our food and the three of us headed back towards my house.

"Ashton, this is max, max, this is my brother from another mother. Literally" I said I introducing Ashton and max, "Nice to meet you man" Ashton said, "You too man" Max said, "So where's the other guys?" I asked, "Calum is with his family and Michael is in the kitchen" Ashton said, "MIKEY GET YOUR ASS IN HERE" I yelled. Michael came strolling in from the kitchen casually with a biscuit hanging out of his mouth, another one in his hand and the packet in his other hand, "Good thing nobody wanted any biscuits" I said laughing, "Michael this is Max, Max this is Michael, our human hair dye tester" I said smiling, "Hey man, okay Kayla can I go have more food now?" Michael asked, "Yeah, sure, I mean, Ashton, me, my dad and Anne don't have to eat or nothing, you eat as much as you like" I said laughing, "Good 'cause I already have been" he said walking back in.

"Okay where am I staying tonight? Am I going with your dad?" Ashton asked, "I have no idea, I don't even know where I'm going" I said laughing, "Ashton, you and I are staying at a hotel tonight" my dad explained, "Max, where are you going? You can't exactly stay here" I said, "He can stay at mine" Luke said, "Are you okay with that max?" I asked, he nodded, "Hands off him, he's mine" I said putting an arm around Luke, I was laughing, but I was half serious, "You know it" Luke said kissing me, "Damn, there goes my only chance" max said chuckling, I laughed lightly as everyone went to their places they had to go, it was only me, Anne, Kenzie, Luke and Max left, "I'll see you tomorrow Kayla" Max said as he and Luke were leaving, "Goodbye Anne, good luck for tomorrow" max said, "Bye Kenzie, see you tomorrow" he said as he went outside to wait, "Bye Kayla, see you tomorrow" Luke said kissing me quickly, "Bye Luke" I said, "By Anne Marie, good luck, bye Kenzie, see you three tomorrow" he said as he and Max left.

"Can I do your nails?" I asked, "I was gonna ask you to anyway" Anne said laughing, I chuckled as I led her to my room, Kenzie following us, "So, are you and Luke getting serious?" Anne asked, "Well, yeah, I think so" I said, she chuckled, "Look, I know you've already had the sex talk, probably, and it would have been so awkward with your dad, but remember to use protection Kayla, please" she said, "I know Anne, plus we've only been going out for just over two weeks" I reminded her, "Just for the future" she said laughing as I painted her nails a beautiful red, so it matched her colour scheme.

"They're lovely" she said, "Thanks, Kenzie will I do yours? Then you can do mine" I said, she nodded as my Anne left and I began painting her nails, "That was an awkward conversation" Kenzie said, "Tell me about it" I said laughing, "I suppose its not so bad since she isn't your real mum" Kenzie said laughing, "Yeah but she's a better mum than my mother ever was" I stated, finishing the last nails and waiting as Kenzie put her nails under the UV light to dry them and then proceeded to paint my nails.
