Lucy was panicking just a tiny bit. She'd walked into Laurel's room to help her get ready for the day. However, when she walked into the dark room, she found no body in the bed and the bed itself made well. Too well.

She hurried across the hall and dashed into Peter's room without knocking. He was her brother, she didn't need to knock, right? Lucy opened her mouth to wake Peter up, but noticed another body beside her brother's. Laurel.

Internally, Lucy squealed. They looked so cute! Peter had a grip around her to keep her from leaving his side. But judging by the way she cocooned herself in his arms, it looked like she never wanted to leave. Carefully, she tiptoed to the other side of the room and opened the drapes. It was much too dark. Lucy headed over to a chair and pulled out a book. She'd let them sleep for ten more minutes, the huge smiles on their faces were too cute to disrupt.

I snuggled closer to the warm, hard body next to me, trying to avoid the sunlight blinding my eyes. One hand belonging to the body beside me tightened around my waist while the other folded around my shoulders. Because the sunlight was still in my eyes, I no longer felt the need to sleep.

My eyes fluttered open to see Peter still sleeping with a huge smile on his face. I smiled softly and kissed his cheek. Surreptitiously, I pulled the covers away from my body, disentagled my legs from his, and slid out of the bed. I froze when I spotted Lucy smiling up at me with a wide grin.

She wore an evergreen-colored dress with lighter green sleeves. The dress itself was covered in pink butterflies. Her hair was in two braids held together by golden string. A ruby on a gold chain rested on her throat. Lucy looked every cent a Queen. I quietly changed into my nightgown and grabbed my stuff. I shuffled out of the room with Lucy in tow.

"We didn't do anything, I promise." I told her the second we were out of his room. Lucy jumped up and down, squealing. "You two are so adorable!" I blushed and opened the door to my room. The younger girl raced to my wardrobe and started filing through the dresses. "Hmm...let's see...I'm wearing green and so is Ed. Susan and Pete are going to wear blue...how about pink!"

She pulled out a baby pink dress and lifted it to me. I bit my lip and gently took it from her grasp. "Now, I think it's my turn you to doll you up." I smiled at the younger girl and started to get dressed.

Peter turned on his side, the sunlight now starting to shine on him. He moaned and hid his eyes from the sun. "Laure, why did you open the curtains?" Peter croaked, talking to thin air. When he didn't hear a reply, he wiped the sleep from his eyes and discovered that his girlfriend was nowhere to be seen.

His heart sped up as fear crept in. Had she been taken while I was sleeping? Am I too late? Just as Peter was going to yell for help, he noticed how Laurel's things were gone. Relief swet through him like a tidal wave when he spotted a book lying on a table. It was Lucy's. Peter chuckled to himself and threw the covers back.

Of course Lu would barge in to doll up Laurel. Peter set his worries aside and continued to dress in the clothes his sister had obviously meant for him to dress in. "I am going to get back at her later for scaring me." He mumbled to himself.

Lucy squealed again, jumping up and down as she took in my reflection. To be honest, I couldn't believe the girl who wore my face and expressions was me. Her hair was in three braids that joined in a curled ponytail. She had a natural amount of makeup on and her lower lip was caught in between her teeth.
