Faith's POV

There was something wet lying on my forehead but I couldn't see what it was due to my closed eyes.

I heard murmurs and whispers around me and they were all male.

"Fucking do this shit again and I swear to God, Zayn-" I couldn't hear the threat.

"Don't speak to me that way you prick-"

"Will both of you shut up?" Another voice said. "I want to hear if she'll wake up soon."

"Is mummy going to be okay?" A small voice asked.

"Yeah, she is, Alex." One of the same voices said.

There were a couple whispers afterwards but I couldn't hear them clearly. My eyes moved when I kept trying to open them and when I did, I was staring up at three figures.

Louis, Harry... And Zayn.

"Thank god you're awake." Harry said before bending down to hug me and pulling me up from my lying position on the couch.

I was confused but I returned the hug to him while Louis and Zayn stayed silent.

"Mummy!!"

I turned my head and saw Alex running to me before jumping in my lap and wrapping his small arms around my neck.

"I thought you weren't going to wake up, mummy." He said, and it broke my heart.

Whatever was left of it.

"Don't say that." I told him while rubbing the back of his head, threading my fingers through his hair.

Harry smiled at us sympathetically and Louis and Zayn were still silent thorough all of this, both of their arms crossed over their chests.

"I'm heading out." Zayn said, breaking the silence and heading towards the door.

"Where?" Louis dared to ask.

Zayn stopped at the door and turned to face us with a stern expression on his face. "I have to go pick up Dakota. We're going on another date."

Oh no.

"Why?" Louis asked again, pushing Zayn's buttons.

"That's what boyfriend's and girlfriend's do, isn't it?" Zayn asked, before heading out the door and leaving us in complete silence.

**

"What he's doing is wrong, Faith."

The three of us sat after we ate some Chinese takeout while Alex was fast asleep on Harry's bed while he watched Winnie The Pooh on his tv.

We had come here a few hours ago after Zayn left because I couldn't stay there, the energy wasn't something I liked.

I sighed, my head beginning to hurt at the thought of Zayn. "Louis, it's his choice who he gets to date now. We're not together anymore."

"I know, but what the fuck? That quick?" Louis cussed. "After years of being together and everything the both of you have been through, he moves on in a day? That's bullshit, that's-"

I couldn't listen anymore.

Because he was right.

Although I wanted Zayn to move on like I asked him to, how could he move on the day after I end things between us? Did he really not love me enough?

My chest ached, not wanting to know the answer to that if it were true that he really didn't love me like I loved him.

"I mean, why don't I go and look for him? Why don't I go to the damn restaurant he's at with his side chick and break his fucking neck for giving up on you so fucking quick-"
