Faith's POV

"So, any plans for today?" Mandy asked as she poured us two cups of coffee. We stood in Sammy and Ben's kitchen. They had invited the whole gang over for breakfast and we couldn't say no to them.

"Not really. Just taking care of Alex." I shrugged as I lifted my cup and took a sip of the coffee.

We began walking to the backyard where Alex was showing Bubbly to Ben. We brought him in his small cage after Alex begged for me to bring him so he could show him to Ben. I couldn't say no to his cute face so we brought him and Alex was happy as ever.

"And I feed him this once a day so he doesn't get fat and can't walk. Mum said that fat turtles walk slower than regular turtles." Alex explained while Ben sat next to him with a grin.

I smiled to myself at their interaction. I knew that Ben cared deeply for Alex, he was his buddy and I knew that he would protect him from any harm like me. And Zayn.

I quickly shook my head and avoided the thought of him. I went to sit down with Sam, Mandy following behind me. Aaron, Xavier, and Johnny were chatting about cars in a corner, drinking non-alcoholic drinks since it was too early to start drinking. I was sure that they'd start popping beers soon, though.

"How about we go out tonight?" Mandy suggested. "Let's go to a club and go dancing-"

"No." I immediately shook my head at her idea. "I have to take care of Alex."

"Ben can take care of him." She said, nodding towards Alex and Ben watching Bubbly walk on the cement, smiles on their faces. "I'm sure he won't have a problem with it, right Sam?"

Sammy nodded beside me. "Of course, Ben loves Alex and I'm sure he'll let him stay for a couple of hours."

"But-"

"If it helps, Ben has taken care of two four year olds alone. Believe me, he'll have no trouble with Alex. Besides, Alex is more mature then the two kids Ben had to babysit."

I sighed. I still didn't like the idea.

"You're scared of what might happen, aren't you?" Mandy asked. It was like she was reading my mind. She was right.

"Yes." I said. "This is the first time I'm leaving Alex. I've left him with Harry, Louis, and Zayn before but this is different. I haven't left him for more than a few hours and I'm just freaking out that while I'm gone, something bad is going to happen."

"Faith," Mandy placed a hand on top of mine, both resting on my lap. "I understand your motherly instincts to protect your cub, but there's nothing to be afraid of. The danger is long gone and if you want, all of the guys can stay with Ben and Alex just in case. But there's nothing to be afraid of. Alex is in good hands and you know we'd do anything to protect the both of you."

Taking a deep breath, I felt my nerves slowly fade away. I didn't have to worry. Alex would be in good hands. I would only be gone for a few hours and then I'd come back to pick him up before we'd head home. That was it. Nothing will happen to Alex. He would be perfectly fine with Ben and the guys. Everything will be fine.

I looked at Mandy, seeing that she was waiting for an answer. My head turned to Sam, who was giving me a warm smile. She always knew how to keep me calm and situated.

"Will this be necessary?" I asked with a smile.

Mandy beamed, jumping up in her chair and clapping her hands together. She knew she won at convincing me. Sam grinned, too.

"Of course, when was the last time we've had a girl's night out?" Sam asked.

"Years, man!" Mandy yelled, jumping up and down and pumping her fists in the air. "We're going to have so much fun!"
