Faith's POV

The girl had brown hair and blue or green eyes, I couldn't really tell but I remembered that I'd seen her before.

My mind traveled back to try to remember this familiar girl and I suddenly remembered her.

Dakota.

She was in one of my classes in school. We didn't talk but she was smart and nice for all I knew but I couldn't stop but feel like she was quite popular with the male population.

During class when I grew bored from the lecture the professor was teaching, I'd notice that every guy in the class wasn't paying attention either but only on her.

They were all attracted to her.

Who wouldn't?

She was beautiful and her eyes were one of a kind with her dark hair. It was rare for a brunette to have blue eyes and her lips were very full, something that girls would get botox for.

But it didn't help that I felt hurt and a little jealous about her coming home to Zayn, especially with Alex present.

What was he going to think?

Oh yeah, daddy and mommy are having problems so daddy spent the night with one of mommy's classmates.

No big deal.

But it was a big deal. I couldn't let Alex live through these problems at such a young age, I didn't want it to affect his childhood but at the same time this is what I did.

I chose to let him go.

"Bedroom's this way." Zayn told Dakota and walked into my room, expecting her to follow him inside.

But she stayed behind and looked at me before giving me a small polite smile. "Hey Faith." She followed him inside when I didn't reply.

"Who is she, mummy?" Alex asked from the couch.

"Um.." I tried to think of something to say. "Just a friend of daddy's."

"I've never seen her before." His small eyebrows furrowed in thought and confusion.

Before I could reply or go and see what they were doing in my bedroom, Zayn and Dakota came out and he had changed into a grey shirt and black pants, his hair looked like it had gel on it.

"We're going out." Zayn didn't make eye contact with me and walked around me to give a kiss on Alex's forehead.

He walked past me again and went straight to the door without another word while Dakota waved good bye with a small smile again and walked through the same way Zayn had, closing the door behind her.

"Where are they going?"

"I don't know." I said truthfully.

"Daddy's supposed to tell you where he's going at all times, mummy. That is what being in a relationship is all about."

A tear escaped my eye but I quickly cleaned it off my my finger.

It amazed me how my small three year old son knew more about relationships than Zayn and I did. We were supposed to be the grown ups, not him.

Something else that amazed me was how Zayn acted.

He had ignored me.

He completely ignored me and didn't even value my presence. He treated me like I was nothing and it hurt like hell to be treated like that.

But I deserved it. I deserved it because of how I had treated him and denied him. I deserved all that was being handed to me.

"Who are you calling, mummy?" Alex asked and I didn't notice that I was dialing a number until he had spoken.
