Andrew slept through the night soundly.

Nobody could wake him up in the morning as they got ready.

Instead, Glenn wrapped him in his coat and scooped him into his arms.

Rick tied Andrew's shoes together by their shoelaces and hung them from his bag.

Everyone would glance at Andrew every now and again. It seemed to calm them seeing the peaceful expression on his face.

Based on the position of the sun, it was eight am when Glenn had to stop carrying Andrew because he was too tired.

Abraham took over, carefully taking Andrew from Glenn's arms which then sagged in relief.

A scream causes Andrew's head to dart up and he looks around wildly.

Carl darts off as Andrew stares at Abraham with wide eyes.

Abraham set me down on my socked feet so he could lift a gun to the mans face.

I watch as the man hunches over and vomits his guts out onto the grass.

Seeing him vomit made me want to and I felt dizzy.

I grab onto the nearest person to steady myself.

"Are you okay, buddy?" I hear Rosita ask me.

I shake my head, feeling the world spin around me.

I stumble over my own feet as I try to keep the balance.

Rosita's hand grips my arm to prevent me from falling over.

"Pick him up." I hear Glenn instruct from where he has a gun trained to the strange mans face.

"I've never held a kid before!" Rosita panics.

"Just pick him up." Rick Abraham tells her.

Rosita awkwardly picks me up and it's a little uncomfortable.

She holds me away from her and I whimper, kicking my legs as I get dizzy.

"I don't know how hot a kid is supposed to be but I think Andrew is too warm." Rosita tells them.

"Bring him to my church." The man speaks up. "It gets quiet cool in there."

Rick seemed torn on what to do as I breathe heavily before letting out a wet cough.

Someone takes me from Rosita and I'm much more comfortable with their hold.

"Rosita's right. He has a fever." I hear Maggie tell them.

"Ma." My voice is soft. "It's too hot."

"Unzip his coat." Maggie instructs Rosita and I'm now aware that Maggie's holding me.
