"One of the fire hydrants broke and I was wondering if I could go play in the water?" Andrew looks up at Maggie, hands clasped together as he pleads. "Please? The other kids are playing."
Maggie let's a small smile onto her face. "Okay. But don't get soaked. We can't have you falling ill."
A grin stretches across Andrews face as he darts out the front door.
The other children were playing, the girls were wearing tank tops and their underwear and boys were just wearing their underwear.
Andrew takes his shoes and socks off, placing them by the other children's and then sheds his shirt. He kept his shorts on and didn't hesitate to splash in the cool water.
He didn't realize that the other children were staring at him as he fooled around.
He was enjoying himself, the water was refreshing and the sun made him warm inside.
"Why is your stomach so ugly?" One girl questioned, causing Andrew to freeze up.
"They're scars." He mumbled.
"From what?" Another boy questioned.
Andrew shrugged.
"It's ugly. Cover that up. I don't wanna see it." A girl shields her eyes.
"I think I'm gonna puke." A boy taunts, pretending to gag.
"Go home sissy." An older boy tells Andrew, push it him down.
Andrew falls into a puddle, soaking his pants and undies.
"I just wanna play in the water." Andrew mumbled.
"Ugly fucking sissies can't play in the water. We might catch something." One boy dares to swear causing a chorus of 'ooooooos' to sound out.
Andrew begins to get angry.
Something inside him snapped.
"Why don't you fuck off and go suck a dick." Andrew screams, not exactly sure what he was yelling but he heard it used once by Rosita at Abraham.
"The fuck you say to me?" The boy gets into Andrew face as he stands.
Andrew had never been in a fist fight. Heck, he hadn't even thrown a punch but he didn't care as his fist made a direct path towards the boys stomach.
The boy didn't see it coming and let out a sputter, doubling over.
But he was back up in a second and his fist easily met Andrews face.
Andrew falls back with the force of the punch, his head dizzy and vision blurring for a few seconds.
He rolls forward and trips the other boy, crawling on top of him.
Soon they were a mangle of limbs as they fought each other, hurling every insult known to man to each other.
"Hey! Hey, hey, break it up." Michonne hurries over, Justin following behind her.
In their fight, he had snuck away for help.
Michonne pulls the older boy off of Andrew but Andrew lunges at him.
Michonne was genuinely concerned at the aggression that Andrew was showing.
"Andrew!" She snapped. "Knock it off."
Andrew stops, pulling back. Michonne could now see him. He was soaked, his hair a mess and there were various bruises and cuts that littered him. His torso had some scars but the biggest one was on his shoulder.
