Shawn.
Her words repeated in my head. I thought I was imagining it all, but I wasn't.
Next thing I knew she ran into my arms pressing her lips firmly against mine. Her legs wrapped around my waist, kissing me forcefully as if she thought I had died or something.
"I-I l-love you s-so much," she mumbled against my lips as I pressed her back against the wall of the venue.
"L-Lena," I groaned as her small hands gripped at my hair.
"I-I love y-you S-Shawn," she mumbled once again.
I wanted to say something but I didn't know how. It felt as if all of this were a dream. I thought I lost her forever, but I didn't.
She was here in my arms, kissing me like one of us were about to die.
"L-Lena," I said, trying to break the kiss.
She pulled away slowly, her lips still lingering on mine. Her eyes met mine, a small smile forming on the peak of her face.
"Elena," I whispered, pressing my forehead against hers.
"Take me home," she said in a quiet voice.
I pulled away looking down at her as her small body moved closer towards mine.
"Take me home," she said once again.
I took one look at her, everything flooded back into my mind.
"Okay."
~~~
"I can't believe you're still scared of this!" Elena laughed while throwing a pillow to my face.
"Well I'm sorry I'm still not a lover of horror movies."
"You're so lame."
"And you're so cute."
"And I repeat, lame!"
With that we both laughed at each other while laying together in bed. We got home from the venue and just watched a movie while we caught up on everything.
I looked down at her as her chest slowly stopped rising from our laughter. Her body soothed and soon moved closer to mine.
Her head rested against my side as I held the side of her waist.
"I've missed this," she mumbled, turning up to look at me.
"I've missed this too," I said rubbing her side softly.
"And I've missed you," I added.
I could sense her smile as we laid silence again while wrapped in each other's arms. It was just starting to get dark and I felt a little bit of sleep start to take over my body, and I could feel that Elena felt the same way as me.
"Lena?" I asked while brushing my hands through her hair.
"Hmm?" She hummed while closing her eyes slowly.
"Are we still going out to eat?" I asked and rewrapped my arms around her small waist.
"I really don't want to move right now," she whispered while nestling her head against my chest.
"Want me to just order a pizza then? We could finish this awful movie," I smiled and gently kissed the top of her head.
"Okay," she trailed off while letting out a small yawn, "and it's not awful, you just have no taste."
"I have a taste in you," I smirked and she just shook her head at me.
