**Carter's POV**
I heard voices. Voices I knew. My mom and dad's voice to be exact. I don't know how to wake up to tell them I can hear you. I wanted to move, but I had unbelievable bad pain in my left side.
"M-mom?" I finally said my voice so raw and sounds almost cracked
"Oh, Carter!!"
"What happened?" I asked becoming more aware of my surroundings
"You were in a bad car crash."
I gasped "where's Ryan?" I asked on the verge of tears
"Your dad went to go get him"
"I need to see him, mom"
As if it was ment to be, Ryan came walking in
"Carter"
"Ryan" I said with tears running down my face
"It's ok. I'm here" Ryan said holding me
I don't know how long we stayed like that, but the doctor came in to check on me.
"Everything looks good as far as your heart and brain function goes"
"But." I said "There's always a but"
"I'm gonna have to keep you here for at least another night. I wanna keep an eye on your ribs and be able to give you proper pain medication"
"So, when can I go home?" I asked
"Soon. Within two days I would say"
"Ok, thank you"
The doctor nodded then left the room.
"So, I was thinking, when Ryan goes on tour I can come stay with you. Ryan's tour is only a few weeks right? And I'll only stay until your back at work and on your feet" my mom suggested
"Mom, you have dad to worry about it's ok. I have Jamie, Kelly, and Tayler here"
"Carter, I can stay home. I don't have to go on tour." Ryan said
"No, you're going on tour. The fans already don't like me and this would only make it worse"
"Ok, let's talk about this later. Carter's been through a lot and I'm sure this stress isn't good for her" My dad said
"I'm going to get a coffee. Do you need anything?" My mom asked
"No, I'm ok"
My mom nodded and my dad followed her out of the room
"Finally, we're alone" I told Ryan
Ryan smirked "not like we could do anything."
"Would you get your mind out of the gutter! Come lay with me"
Ryan laid on my bed with me and I rested my head on his chest
"I'm so glad your ok"
"Me too. I would never leave you here, alone."
"Jamie, Ricky, Kelly, Tayler, Ryan, and Balz have all be asking about you"
"I'll need to call them. Or they can come over when I'm home"
"We could invite them over whenever your ready for it"
"What day is it?"
"It's Friday"
"I was asleep for 2 days!!"
"Carter! Calm down!" Ryan said wrapping his arms around me and rubbing my back
"I just can't believe I did this to you and my parents. You must have been so worried"
"It's ok, Carter. All that matters is that you're ok now."
