"Little to the left, ok no! Now a little to the right! Too far back to the left!!"
"Jamie! We've bearly moved it! It's ok!" Ricky said clibimg off the ladder
"Yeah, the banner looks fine, Jamie" Balz said get off the ladder
"I just want everything to be perfect when Carter comes home. You saw her yesterday she isn't in the best mood. I just wanna cheer her up"
"And you will. Ryan didn't even tell her all of us were going to be here when she gets home" Ryan Ashley said
"I wonder when Ryan's going to propose now." Ricky said
"Wait, Ryan was going to propose?" Kelly asked
I nodded "he was going to Saturday, but he didn't think Carter would appreciate him proposing in a hospital room"
"I don't think Carter would have cared, but I'm happy he waited until she wasn't stressed about her medical issues" Tayler said
"Yeah, I'm sure he'll do it soon. I don't even think Carter has a clue"
"Ryan just texted he said they're leaving the hospital!" Balz said
**Carter's POV**
"It hurts to walk" I said sitting on the side of the bed
"The doctors said it would take a few weeks. I already took the bags to the car so I'll help you walk down"
"Ok, I think I'm ready"
I put my hoodie on and Ryan helped me get to the car
"I'm glad Alex is ok after all this" I said as Ryan got into the car
"Is she back at work?"
"Yes, I'm so jealous. I have to take the rest of the school year off"
"It'll be ok. I know you'll miss your kids, but you'll still be involved with them right?"
"Yes, but not like I used to be"
"Maybe you'll get busy with other things and the time will go fast"
I sighed "Hopefully, but right now I just wanna go cuddle Cupcake"
"Well she's in there" Ryan said pulling up in front of our apartment
Ryan got out of the car and helped me to the front door. I unlocked the door and I walked inside with Ryan's help.
"SURPRISE!!!"
I looked up to see all of our friends waiting in our door way
"How are you feeling?" Kelly asked helping me to the couch
"I'm ok"
"Do you need anything?" Tayler asked
"I think I'm ok. Thank you though"
Everyone sat around in the living room just talking and catching up.
"If you need anything just call us. We have to go to the store" Ryan Ashley said
"Ok, thank you guys"
Balz and Ryan Ashley left leaving just Ryan and I.
"What do you want for dinner?" Ryan asked
"I don't care. I'm really not that hungry right now. Can you help me to our room?"
Ryan nodded and helped me to our bed
I sighed "I wanna move"
"I thought you wanted to come to the room?"
"I mean I want a new apartment for us"
