**Carter's POV**
A few years later

"Aiden, we gotta go. Dad's at the airport!"

"I'm coming, mom!!"

"Ready?" I asked as he came downstairs

"Yes"

Ryan is coming home from a 2 month tour and Aiden and I couldn't be more excited. Especially with Adien's 7th  birthday next week.

I drove to the airport and as soon as we walked in Emily ran up to Aiden

"They're best friends" Jamie said looking at our kids

"I know, I love that they're so close" I said smiling

Jamie ended up pregnant about a year and after I had Aiden. Emily and Aiden have really gotten close and have a beautiful friendship.

"Daddy!!!!" Emily ran to Ricky has fast as her little legs could carry her

"Dad!!" Aiden ran to Ryan

The guys all piled into the airport and Ryan and I headed home

"Man, I missed you two. How's baseball, bud?"

"Good! I hit a home run last game when Aunt Jamie and Emily came to watch me" Aiden answered

"That's great I can't wait to go to your next game"

"I'm so glad your home" I told Ryan

"Me too. I missed you like crazy" Ryan said grabbing my face and kissing me while we were at a red light

"Ewwwwww!!!" Aiden exclaimed

Ryan just laughed "you'll be kissing girls one day"

"No, mommy said girls have cooties. So now you have cooties! Eww!!"

Ryan just laughed "in time by son"

Once we got home the three of us are dinner as a family then sat down to watch a movie together.

"What do you wanna watch, Aiden?" I asked

"Ninja turtles, duh"

"I should've known, my little Michael Angelo" I said smiling

Ryan and I wrapped up in a blanket together and Aiden sat right by Ryan sharing his blanket with Bear.

A few days later

"Man, it's a nice day." Ryan said as we sat on the bleachers watching Aiden play baseball.

"It's hard to watch the game when there's a stud with a ball cap and some nice shades on sitting by me"

Ryan smirked and kissed me "I still say marrying you was one of the best decisions I've made"

"8 years later and you still flirt with your wife. I love it" Jamie said sitting next to me with Emily

"He's the best isn't he?" I said

"Second best. I got the best" Jamie said smiling at Ricky

"Agree to disagree"

It's become a tradition for Ricky and Jamie to come to Aiden's games then we either go to one of our houses or out to eat lunch.

I'm so thankful that Ryan and I have such a great support system and such great friends. I can't wait to see what our future holds. And I can't express enough how happy I am that I went into that tiny little grocery store to get groceries that night, because I got the love of my life that night, and I wouldn't change a thing. Ever.

That's a wrap!! I want to do a story with Emily and Aiden when they're older but haven't decided yet! Anyway, the first chapter of I can't stand it is up now!!
