**Carter's POV**
It's been a hard day. Im really missing Ryan. So, I decided to pay Ryan Ashley and Balz a visit at the store
"Carter and baby how are you guys!!" Balz asked as I walked in
"I'm ok. Just missing Ryan"
"He'll be home soon right?"
"He's pretty much touring nonstop until April"
"Man, that sucks"
"I know, and now my friend Alex just broke up with her girlfriend and she wanted to take me to dinner tonight but it freaked me out so I came here"
"Well Ryan has about an hour left on the tattoo she's working on. Maybe when she's done we can all go out?"
"Yeah, that sounds good"
"So have you and Ryan named the baby?"
"I wish. Every name we come up with we always fine something wrong with it. We find out the gender next week so hopefully that'll help us"
"What do you think it'll be?"
"I have no clue."
Balz chuckled "Well, whatever it decides to be we will all love and support it"
"That's why I love you guys so much"
Ryan Ashley finished up her tattoo then we went out to eat dinner
"So, how's everything coming for the baby's room?" Ryan Ashley asked
"It's not. Ryan wants me to wait till he's home to put the crib together and to put the carseat in my car"
"What if he isn't home in time?"
"I asked the same thing but he seems sure he'll be home in plenty of time"
"It's a shame he won't be when you find out the gender"
"I know. I wish he could be there"
"Do you want me to go with you so you don't have to go to the appointment alone?" Ryan Ashley asked
"Oh, Ryan I couldn't ask you to do that. You're super busy"
"Carter, I want to. When's your appointment?"
"Wednesday at 3:30"
"I have a tattoo appointment at 11 and that's all for the day. Balz can watch the store while I'm gone"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes! I'm sure!"
"And call me the second you find out" Balz said
Ryan Ashley glared at him "Don't you think we should call Ryan, the father first?"
"Ok call me the second after you fine out"
Ryan laughed "that we can probably do"
After dinner I went home and fed Cupcake and Bear. I went upstairs and changed and crawled into bed. As soon as I laid down Ryan called me
"Hey babe" I said smiling
"Hey! I just got back to the bus thought I'd call and say good night to you and the little one"
"Well I'm glad you called
. I can't wait for you to be home"
"I know I can't wait either"
"I think bear is looking for you. He keeps walking around the house in search of something"
"What is he doing now?"
"I don't know, let me go find him"
I got out of bed and noticed a red spot on the sheets
"Ryan!!!" I said tears pooling in my eyes
"What!?"
"I'm bleeding!!!"
