**Carter's POV**
I already hate being pregnant. I'm late for work because I was puking my guts up this morning. I admire the women who look cute while pregnant because I look like a rag doll.
"Are you sure your ok to go to work today?" Ryan asked as i pushed my teeth
"It's the last day before Christmas break I kinda have to be there"
"Call me if you need anything. And eat something at lunch even if you don't feel like it. It's not good for the baby if you don't eat."
Ryan's been doing a decent amount of googling about babies and pregnancies lately. It's very sweet of him to do so, but he's kinda been driving me crazy with all the things he's learned
"I'll be ok, Ry. I promise to eat"
"Ok, but don't eat candy or something. The baby needs protein"
"Babe!!"
"What?"
"I'm happy you went and did all this research to help me out, but you have to trust me sometimes."
"I'm being over protective, huh?"
"Yes, but I love you for it" I said giving him a kiss "I'll call you when I'm at lunch"
"Ok, babe. Have a good day"
"Thanks, hubs"
When I got to work I walked into the teacher lounge and it smelled of coffee. I normally love that smell, but I don't right now. I quickly left the room and went to my class room
"Morning Katie"
"Morning Carter! Are you ready for break?"
"Yes I am. My husband and I are going away for most of the break so that'll be nice."
"I'm going to New York to see my brother for the break"
"Oh, that'll be fun! I know you miss your brother"
"Yeah, I'm excited his wife is suppose to have the baby soon too"
"Oh, I didn't know they were expecting."
"Yeah, they told us at the beginning of the summer"
"That's so exciting"
Ryan and I haven't told anyone except our parents about the baby. We like that it's just out little secret right now. Although, my jeans are already not fitting right so I know we won't be able to keep it a secret for much longer
"Good morning, Kaite and Carter!!" Tayler said
"Morning Tayler" we both said
I shut the classroom door and sat at the table with Katie and Tayler.
"I wanna tell you guys something, but it has to stay between us"
"Okay..." they both said clearly confused
"Ryan and I are expecting a baby in May"
"Are you pregnant??" Tayler asked
"Yes! I'm pregnant"
"That's so exciting, Carter! Congrats!!"
"We've only told our parents. We plan to tell our friends over the break that's why I wanted to tell you two now"
"Well, I'm very excited for you two Carter" Katie said
"Thank you"
"Boy, that didn't take y'all long" Tayler blurted out
"Tayler!!"
"What!? It's true. You just got married"
"Well, technically if she's due in May that makes she's about 3 or 4 months so she probably got pregnant before the wedding" Katie said
"You guys are awful sometimes" I said shaking my head
"We only do it because we love you"
"Yeah, I love y'all too"
