**Carter's POV**
"This state is so beautiful!" I said looking out the window in the bedroom of our cabin
"Especially with the snow on the mountains" Ryan added
"Yeah, that's true"
"Have you talked to your parents lately" Ryan asked as we unpckaed
"My mom is excited for the baby, my dad on the other hand hasn't spoken to my since I told him and I don't think he'll ever talk to me again"
"It's his loss. He won't ever meet my kid as long as I'm alive"
"Ryan! This is my father we're talking about! The grandfather to my baby don't you think I should have a say in this!!"
"You do, Carter. I just don't want someone negative around my baby. But I don't want to fight with you on vacation so let's just relax."
Ryan and I spent a while unpacking and settling in. Now we're cooking dinner
"What about Daisy for a girl?" Ryan asked
I scrunched up my nose "How about no"
"Ok, well what do you want to name it?"
"Mikaylla for a girl and Thomas for a boy"
"Chris' middle name is Thomas"
"Ok then not Thomas. What about Joshua?"
"That's Balz's name!"
"I hate this. Our baby is never gonna have a name"
"Don't say that. You aren't due till May we'll think of something. We could always name it Mor-"
"We are not naming the baby Morty!! I've already had this discussion with you!"
Ryan laughed "Are you sure? It's a good name"
"I want a divorce" I said laughing
"To bad your stuck with me forever!!"
"I wouldn't have it any other way" I said smiling
Ryan just smiled and continued cooking
"Do you think cupcake and bear will like having a baby around?"
"I don't know. Hopefully."
I kissed Ryan's cheek "I think you're gonna be a great dad"
"I know you're gonna be a great mom. You're great with your students so I know your gonna be great with our baby"
"Being pregnant this time is so much better than when I was in college. The guy I was dating didn't want the baby and I was in school and my dad hated me for letting it happen"
"Your dad is still unhappy with you"
"I know. I was surprised when he showed up at the wedding."
"I may not have the best dad, but I know my baby will."
"Come on Carter. All I've done is knock you up. You're the one who's feeding, loving, and taking care of it. I can't do any of that until it's born"
"Ryan, you go out at 2 am to find me snacks because that's what I'm craving and every morning you kiss me then you kiss my stomach. You're already taking care of and loving the baby"
Ryan kinda smiled "Do you really think we're ready for this? To be parents and to raise a baby?"
"Well, even if we aren't get ready because he or she is coming in May"
And hopefully by then we will be ready.
So, as I said the characters name for the next book was revealed in this chapter!! I'll post what the name is next chapter but what's your guesses??
